How the heck does Darth Vader eat!
I consider myself a bit of a Star Wars nerd - proudly so. My nephew often asks me trivia out of his books and I almost always have the answer. Then one day he asks. "Uncle Joe. What does Darth Vader eat?" Uh, Uh, Ummm, he doesn't need to, he uses the force to sustain him - knowing that it is most likely incorrect. Now we all know what Anakin eats - he shares peaches with Padme, floating them across the table. But seriously, what the bejeebles does Darth Vader eat?!!!

Okay, so as I mentioned I am a bit of a Star Wars nerd. Since my marriage, alot of my books and toys have made their way into deep storage. So I went into said deep storage and pulled them out.
STAR WARS The Visual Dictionary shows the inside of Darth Vader's helmet. If you can recall a scene in Return Of The Jedi when Luke removes his father's (Darth Vader) helmet, there was a little piece that went from , what appears to be the neck region, to Darth Vader's mouth. That little instrument is a voice processor which changed the feeble and aged voice of Anakin into the James Earle Jones thunder we grew to know. There are two tubes that are parallel down each side of the processor, yet stick out the end just a little bit farther - the tubes are labeled "Nutrient Feed Tubes". So there is the answer of how Darth Vader eats. I don't think he will be enjoying anything like a pizza (no wonder he is so grumpy), but he can sustain his life - the human part.
