How to Make Money Online for FREE

The Bear Marketing System is a collection of different affiliate marketing programs. If you aren't familiar with affiliate marketing, as I wasn't when I started, it is a marketing practice that pays a commission to people referring people to a product or service. This system is the answer to how to succeed with online affiliate marketing.

Currently, the system has nine different affiliate programs in it. They're always looking to add new programs to the system if good ones show up. You only have to join the programs that you like. Before this type of system existed, you would have to manually promote each one of the nine affiliate programs within the system if you wanted to make money as an affiliate with those programs. That alone would be frustrating enough to not even make it worthwhile. Well, that is a thing of the past. All you have to do now is promote this 100% FREE system. When you refer people into the free system, you have indirectly marketed each one of the affiliate programs that are in the system. When people join the system, all of my referral information is automatically provided to each of the affiliate programs in the system. This ensures that I will get credit for referring those new people.

No way; several systems out there are structured this way. Remember though, other systems don't have the best affiliate programs on the market. Other programs don't have the free forum with some of the best internet marketers in the world answering users' questions. Other systems don't have video tutorials for every single part of the setup process. Most importantly, other systems aren't totally FREE. With these ingredients, you've got the perfect storm. This section here is one of the most important sections in this entire blog. You know that you're already a part of the best marketing system on the planet. People will join the system when, and only when, they find out about it. If you haven't spread the word, how are other people going to hear it? This goes back to what I was saying earlier. Your only major responsibility is making sure that people can find your website so that they can learn about the system and enroll in it. There are several things that you can do to make that happen. I'm going to talk about things I've tried and things I'm planning to try. I'll try my best to make it as thorough as possible, but also maintain its briefness. And yes, briefness is a word.

With your marketing, keep in mind that you want to set yourself apart. You aren't marketing to blend in with the crowd. Don't just do what everybody else is doing. That is called average. Average input will give you average output. Be creative and unique. You want to be noticed.

I'm going to update this section of the blog on a regular basis. I want to make sure that you're all informed as to the things that are working for me as well as the things that aren't working for me. Since this part of the blog is constantly being updated, don't fail to check it every once in a while.

Video Marketing

Overview

Video marketing will give you a way of quickly spreading your message without relying on others to do any reading. Surprisingly enough, some people will see words and think, "I'm not reading that." Video marketing will portray your message in a way that your audience can process with very little effort. I have found that people tend to feel a little more comfortable learning from videos compared to reading a web page. It makes your presentation just a little more personal and genuine. Despite what you may think, you do not need a camera to do video marketing. There is a screen recording program that you can download that will help you create professional looking videos that you can quickly upload to the internet. All you need is a microphone. I'll post a link to that program at the bottom of this page.

Pros

- It is totally FREE to make videos.
- It doesn't require much work. A typical video is less than 10 minutes long.
- It is easy to post your videos to multiple websites all at the same time. You will find out how to do this if you check my Links section.
- In my experience, videos produce the fastest results hands down. At one time, my entire marketing campaign was a video on YouTube. My single video prompted somebody to join the Bear Marketing System within a day of posting it.

Cons

- More and more people are starting to jump into video marketing. However, it's certainly not drastic enough to keep you from doing it. If you create videos that are better and more informative than other people's videos, then you'll prevail on sites like YouTube, MySpace, and Daily Motion.

Sustainability of Results

You'll have both short and long term success. Remember, video marketing is an excellent place to start growing your downline. You can also sustain your downline with it. Videos will generally stay on YouTube and other sites for a pretty long time. Unless you do something that rubs YouTube the wrong way, your videos will stay on the site just like all of the others.

Other Notes

Once you start creating videos, don't just stop. I'm planning on creating a video at least every day or two. Remember, the more videos that you have out, the more likely somebody is to find one. You'll start getting people to subscribe to your YouTube channel and that will start to develop a group of followers.

Traffic Exchanges

Overview

Traffic exchanges are very easy. On a traffic exchange, if you look at other people's websites, then your website will be viewed by other people. That is precisely why it is called a traffic exchange. There are several traffic exchanges on the internet. Some popular traffic exchanges are HitsBoosterPro, EasyHits4U, Traffic-G, RealTrafficExchange, AdVentures4U, 20DollarSurf, Traffic9, and ViewTubeTrain.

Pros

- Traffic exchanges are FREE to use.
- They require little effort. All you've got to do is look at other websites.
- They can produce fast results.

Cons

- You're not going to get rich from the traffic exchanges.
- They're very boring to use. Once you've established yourself, your highest and best use is not going to be clicking through websites on the traffic exchange.
- The website traffic that you'll generate won't be significant, but you may pick up a few downline members from the traffic exchange.

Sustainability of Results

I would recommend the traffic exchange as strictly a short term solution to get some traffic. Unless you're actively using the traffic exchange, it will be worthless to you. This is in contrast to many other marketing methods that tend to create more passive, long term traffic. That's why you won't see any well established companies in the traffic exchange.

Blogs

Overview

Most people are pretty familiar with blogs. If you're not, then take a look right under your nose. This is a blog. A blog is pretty much an online journal or memoir that you can share with the whole world. Generally, they're pretty informative. Believe it or not, I actually wasn't familiar with blogging when I first started. Now I love them. Two very popular blogging websites are Squidoo and Blogger. If you want to find some more, you can search for them in Google. There are a ton of them out there.

Pros

- You've got the ability to update them and change them as often as you'd like.
- They can achieve very good page rankings in search engines like Google and Yahoo.
- You can use them to include pictures, banner ads, and videos to draw people to your capture pages.
- They are FREE.
- They can be structured to look very professional looking. You can really establish your credibility with a good blog.
- Once created, blogs take less effort to maintain.

Cons

- It can be a little time consuming. To give you an idea, this blog took me about two days to complete.
- They take a little practice and patience to be able to organize everything properly.

Sustainability of Results

Blogs don't seem to be a great tool for short term success. It'll generally take a few weeks to drive adequate traffic to your blog. Blogs are great for long term growth and success though. Since they can updated whenever necessary, you've basically got yourself a living document that should never be outdated. You'll be able to get people to subscribe to your blog and read it regularly. You can really develop your credibility if you've got a good blog.

Other Notes

Keep in mind that just because blogs can boost your credibility, they can also kill it if you have a sloppy looking blog. I've seen several blogs where people have made excessive grammar and spelling mistakes. I've even seen them where an author has incorrectly spelled the name of the state he lives in. Generally, I don't even finish reading those. I'm sure that this blog isn't flawless, but I am human. Make sure you don't sound like a pinhead in your blog, unless, of course, your promoting illiteracy. Take your time. Your blog can be an awesome weapon. Don't use it to shoot yourself in the foot.

I feel like another important aspect is blog length. I've read some books lately on blogging that say to make sure you make blogs short and concise. Well I've found evidence to support the contrary. I've read before about mail marketing campaign letters. My reading taught me that a two page letter will outsell a one page letter. A four page letter will outsell a two page later. Astonishingly, some of the most successful marketing letters are 32 pages long. I compared this to Squidoo. I pulled up the list of the top 100 Squidoo blogs and opened the top 5. The top four blogs were all 30 pages. The fifth place blog was 90 pages. People like being as informed as possible.

Also, if you've got a longer blog then you've created many more opportunities for a search engine like Google to find your blog. I've intentionally tried to use as extensive of an internet marketing vocabulary as I can, within reason, throughout this blog for the purpose of giving Google multiple opportunities to find it. I've also made sure to include a handful of links to my capture page. Google likes that too. That being said, I suggest that you make your blogs very thorough. Find a few very successful online blogs, and emulate the techniques and formats that they use.

Overview

Most of you are probably familiar with a bunch of different social networking sites. They are Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter, just to name a few. There are really a bunch though. I suggest you join them. They're free. Most of them give you a number of different ways to communicate with people. After all, they are designed to facilitate social networking. There are even some of them that have marketplace sections that are pretty good for posting advertising. Frankly, I haven't hit the social networking sites as well as I need to be. That is going to change very soon though.

Pros

- There seems to be less competition marketing on many of these sites. This is particularly true for Facebook and MySpace.
- There are applications that you can download that will actually add several friends for you automatically. This will grow your social network big time.
- They're FREE.

Cons

- Since I haven't gone after the social networks very heavily yet, I'm not really a credible person to tell you about any of the downfalls that you might have with them.

Sustainability of Results

The same things holds true for this section. I'm not going to tell you anything about marketing on social networking sites that I don't know for sure. However, I'm going to be all over the social networking sites in the next few weeks. Expect me to update my blog then.

Overview

PPC ads are all over the place on the internet. When you search for something in Google, all of the results that come up on the right side of the page are PPC ads. They can be quite a powerful tool if used properly. There are a few different ways to structure how you'll pay for the advertising. You'll have to become familiar with them if you choose to advertise this way.

Pros

- PPC ads can be very powerful if you use them properly. They'll virtually guarantee that you get some exposure.
- There are a bunch of different websites out there where you can create PPC ads.

Cons

- Don't think that you've got some secret weapon after you've set up a few PPC ads. You're competing against a whole ton of people.
- There is definitely a skill to setting up good PPC ads. If you don't have much experience doing it, you run a high risk of creating worthless PPC campaigns.
- You can lose money very quickly with PPC ads.
- Marketing this way can be very discouraging if you don't know what you're doing.

Other Notes

If you're a beginner, I'd stay away from PPC ads for the time being unless you're just a glutton for punishment. Take it from somebody who got his teeth kicked with PPC ads, there is definitely skill involved here. I really don't want you to get discouraged when you lose $200 on Google Adwords your first week doing this. It can be a real morale killer. If you do happen to succeed as a beginner with PPC ads, and I wish you do, then you got lucky.

By no means am I telling you not to do PPC ads. I'm just recommending you get your feet wet first. Start simple.

I'm not going to go into detail with them, because I am still in the learning process for all of these I'm that I'm about to list.
