A Short Biography of David Carradine the Kung Fu Action Star
David Carradine and his Amazing Career
David Carradine was born in Hollywood, California on December 8th, 1936. He was the son of the American Actor John Carradine who was known for his film "The Legend of Jesse James". David Carradine also had 3 half brothers named Bruce, Keith, and Robert Carradine. Later in David Carradine's life he went to San Francisco Stage College where he studied drama.David Carradine's career flew when he starred in the hit series "Kung Fu" that aired in the 1970's and he also starred in the spin off series of "Kung Fu: The Legend Continues" that aired in the 1990's. He played the character Kwai Chang Caine which was the main character whose main role was a Shaolin priest and leader of a Shaolin temple. The journey of Kwai Chang Caine starts off in the Shaolin temple but later takes off outside of the temple when Kwai Chang Caine journeys beyond his realm.
Beyond the Kung Fu series, David Carradine also starred in many notable roles such as his lead role in "Shane" and "Taggart" in which he played a gunslinger. One of my favorite films that David Carradine starred in was "Kill Bill" in which he played the main bad guy in the film. Carradine also produced his own exercise videos where he performed Tai Chi and Qi Gong which represents the star's personal interests in martial arts.
