Day Job Killer - Affiliate Marketing

Well folks, the final 25 odd pages were just as good as the first 45.

I personally consider these Strategies as being more advanced than "Direct Linking X" and "The Leveller".

"Campaign Nuking" is a simple method/workaround to the Google's "Double Serving Rule" which prohibits more than one Adwords Ad using the same URL. The Strategy shows how to "nudge" either the Vendor, or Affiliate Ad off Page 1 of Google, and replace it with your own Ad.

"The Undercutter" is a Strategy which can work in any "niche" and can put one in the position of a vendor, rather than an Affiliate. This method combines the creation of a Highly Targeted List, and creation of a competing product.

Now to the "Offline" Strategies, these strategies combine both Offline and Online techniques:

"The Media Manslaughter" combines "The Leech" (copy the best) with a targeted offline advertising campaign. I consider this an advanced strategy because, while a successful campaign can be very profitable, a MISTAKE can be very costly. Probably not a place to start, although the competition is less active in this venue.

"Cheapskate Undercutter" is another advanced Strategy which makes use of Press Releases in a interesting way.

Now that I have reviewed "Day Job Killer", you might say that you knew all of this. Maybe so, yet the combination of elements is probably unique.

Can I honestly tell you that You will make money with "Day Job Killer"? Yes You can...The more important question...Will You?

The most important use of the information in "Day Job Killer" is TAKING ACTION! Knowing the methods and strategies are useless if You/I never implement them.

Well, sleep did not keep my head from swimming this morning.

I have not yet completed my reading of "Day Job Killer". I am 40 odd pages through DJK and have written several pages of notes.

In this part of my review, I will address the strategies related to "Direct Linking X" and "The Leveller".

A confession first, and then I will begin. I am relatively new to internet marketing. I made feeble attempts after purchasing Chris Carpenter's "Google Cash" 2 or 3 years ago. I guess, with a short attention span, and expectations of Internet Riches, I cut my efforts short when "Success" didn't happen by Day 2. I also have extremely limited web related skills, and many efforts were doomed to frustration and failure as a result.

Then late last November (2006), I purchased "Affiliate ProjectX". With several fits and starts, and more mistakes that I care to admit, I actually reached a break-even point, and then very small profits.

NOW to "Direct Linking X"...
"Direct Linking X" is offered as "Google Cash" for 2007. I really like the ideas offered in this strategy. The Action Plan, is easy to understand, and Easy(?) to implement. I note that the proof will be in the action/implementation. One thing that really stood out to me, is that this method has almost infinite possibilities. Even if 8,000-10,000 people are implementing this strategy, there will still be markets and products where you or I will be the only competators.

Another benefit of using "Direct Linking X" is that we will NOT be conducting extensive "keyword research", another of my weaknesses. Instead, when we implement this strategy, our Keywords will choose themselves. We can affiliate with some of the largest Companies in the world...like Amazon. These are products ranging from e-books to large physical products, maybe even cars?

"The Leveller" (How to rob a Guru)...is an expansion of a Strategy ("The Leech") first offered in "Affiliate ProjectX". Here Chris has added both a twist and advanced ideas on just how to take "The Leech" to the next level.

There are ideas on how to build a highly targeted list of customers, including sample of 4 e-mail's which can be used as part of your AutoResponder campaign.

I will admit that I cannot guarantee that you or anyone else, has not read or been exposed to most or all of the elements of these Strategies, yet I sincerely doubt that any of us has seen these elements combined into these Effective Strategies.
