- I am hoping that opening a Daycare is what God's plan is for me. I love children and have 2 of my own. I have taken care of other peoples children since the age of 12. I understand the stress it involves. I volunteered at my daughters Head Start for an entire year. I would love to get a grant big enough to make my dream become reality.

- Like most people, I have experienced set backs due to the economy. I lost my full time job in February and have not had any luck in finding a replacement. I have two children and I have thought of starting a daycare for years. I live in a rural community that offers no child care. Owning my own business would allow me to continue to stay at home with my children as well as help other working parents who are in need of reliable, trustworthy child care for their children. I would appreciate any advice from any one who has started their own daycare as well as advice on how to receive grant funding.

- I've ine been desiring to start my own Daycare for some years now. I have worked with children for the last 10 years in the school system and church not to include i have 7 of my own. I feel this is my divine calling and not only am i looking to profit from it but also be a role model and inspiration to someone

- I AM TRYING TO GET A GRANT TO START MY OWN DAYCARE I HAVE WORK IN OTHER FACILITIES AND HAVE DREAMED OF RUNNING MY OWN.

- me too! Ms. Peggy However, keep working towards your dreams. Do as much research as possible and network with others who as the same dreams as you but, be mindful to never disclose everything you are doing unless the individual(s) or group can be trusted.
