#1 Reason To Buy This Radio
Price Quote For DEWALT DC011 Combination Worksite Radio and 7.2-Volt to 18-Volt Pod Style Battery ChargerYour new DeWalt job site radio not only plays the coolest tunes, it doubles as a battery charger.
Take a look at the picture. You see how the battery loads into the back? You can run the radio off a battery OR you can plug it into a standard outlet and charge a battery while listening to the latest tunes.
The charger is a 1 hour charger for DeWalt batteries ranging from 7.2V to 18V.
The only complaint that I have heard is the charger will drain a battery if you leave the battery plugged in for a few days while the unit is turned off. Like any battery charger, you shouldn't leave the battery in the charger once it is charged. That's just common sense!
#2 Reason To Buy This Radio
It has a strong, directional antennae that grabs any radio station you want. And unless you've worked on a crappy job site before, you have no idea how important it is to hear a clear broadcast of your radio station. This unit pulls in the stations!
#3 Reason To Buy This Radio
Get this radio. It's well worth the money. You see these on practically every job site in southern California, especially beach city job sites.
What more could you want?
