Get Insane Deals with Daily Deal Sites: Otherwise Known As Deal Of The Day Sites
Warning...these sites are extremely addictive! Especially the baby ones! Extremely! Addictive! Need anymore warnings? Just remember I told you so...
The concept of these deal-of-the-day websites is that a new product is posted each day at a discount...usually anywhere from 20-80% off retail. First come, first serve. So when the product sells out, it's gone and you have to wait until tomorrow to see what's next. What's more is that each site posts new products at different times each day, so depending on how many of these sites you follow, you can be refreshing that screen all day, just waiting to be first in line for the deal.
There are tons of these sites in existence and more are cropping up each day with any category you can imagine from pet supplies to electronics to lingerie. Although I've explored some of the different categories, I think the baby daily deal sites are the most fun.
How This Lens Works
A Couple Quick Things You Should Know...
There is also another type of website that is really similar to the daily deal sites, called "membership sites". I've covered baby/kid/maternity membership sites in another lens. Since I get a lot of questions about these sites and why they aren't included in this lens, I've included a brief list below, but check out the lens for more detail and a review on each.
The daily deal sites that are out there for baby/kids stuff are covered in alphabetical order on here. As new sites crop up, I'll add them to the lens. If you know of one that hasn't been covered on here, please let me know in the comments section below and I'll review it and add it to the lens.
A Quick List of Baby Flash Sale Sites
Here's a Brief Rundown of Flash Sale Sites Geared Towards Babies and Kids*
*Most of these thrive and continue to grow in popularity via invitations from current members. When you click on one of the links below, you are clicking on my personal invitation for you to become a member. In some cases current members get credit on the site when new members join and/or make a purchase. This is not true of daily deal sites, just membership sites like the ones listed below.
- Zulily
- My favorite flash sale site for parents, Zulily has just about everything for infants, toddlers, little kids, maternity and nursing moms.
- Totsy
- Totsy is another favorite and is also geared exclusively towards all things kid/parent related.
- HauteLook
- HauteLook has great brands and a special section for kids/babies/maternity. They are also one of the best flash sale sites out there for mens and women's attire and have good home furnishing sales as well. This is a great site for scoring deals and all around really does have some of the best stuff on their site.
- The Mini Social
- The Mini Social is a more upscale membership site for babies and kids. They specialize in children's clothing and toys.
- Gilt
- This is quickly becoming one of my favorite sites for parenting related finds. You have to click a few times to really see into their sales in the kids section, but they usually have a whole LOT of stuff for sale and it's usually really good stuff too. This one is really worth checking out.
- Ideeli
- Similar to HauteLook, Ideeli has a special section devoted to all things kids/babies/maternity, but also has other sections for the whole family. Ideeli is interesting, because sometimes their sales are just so-so and other times they have some of the most amazing sales out there. It just depends on the sale.
- Open Sky
- Open Sky is a really unique kind of flash sale site, unlike the others. Essentially celebs or others who have a pulse on great products handpick certain products and present them on their shops. I'm still figuring this one out, but it's quickly becoming a favorite, although I haven't explored into the kids category as much as I would like. But what I've seen has been really great! They also randomly give you free credit, including $15 just for creating a free account...so that's super cool! Navigation is a little strange on this site, but it has fast grown on me.
- Plum District
- Plum District isn't your typical flash sale site. It's similar to groupon, but they do have flash sales and you do have to be a member to purchase just like the flash sale membership sites. Plum District is a great one for parents, because they almost always have something related to babies/kids/parenting. Sites like Plum District and Groupon are different because you have to sign up for a specific city. However, even if you don't live in a major city many of the finds are online sales so it's actually not a bad idea to sign up for the 2-3 closest cities to you. I was skeptical of this site at first and now it's one of my absolute favorites!
- Fab
- Fab is very new, less than a year old, but quickly gaining a following for their ultra modern, uber chic fare. Not strictly for kids, they have regular sales on home goods or toys in the children's categories. They just started "Kid Wednesdays" with special sales for kid only stuff. Hint: you've probably never seen or heard of most of the brands offered on Fab...but they're really cool...sometimes really out there. If you're looking for something no one else has ever seen or heard of, Fab is your place. This is a site definitely worth checking out if you're looking for something unique, but if you consider yourself more traditional, Fab may not be your cup of tea.
- Beyond the Rack
- Beyond the Rack has a targeted kids/baby/maternity/nursing section, however, while they have some great things to offer, they have a bigger selection for men, women and home goods. They often have some great deals all around.
- One King's Lane
- A strictly home decor site, you'll often find home furnishing for baby's nursery or toddler rooms. They usually have a few sales a week targeted for parents. One Kings Lane has some really unique stuff and is a really fun site to browse. It's one of those sites that makes you remember when you didn't use to eat, sleep and breathe "kid".
- The Foundary
- The Foundary is not a site exclusive to the parenting sector, but often has kids gear and toys and is a very clean looking, easy to browse site. They have really nice products and always offer a range of product types and prices at all price points. They also have some of the most reasonable shipping rates. This is a great site to buy birthday and Christmas gifts for the whole family.
- Joss & Main
- This site is similar to One Kings Lane in that it focuses on unique and luxurious home goods with the occasional children's sale cropping up. However, Joss & Main caters to parents less frequently than One Kings Lane, but has mass appeal for the decorator in you.
- Rue La La
- SPECIAL PROMO: Now until May 14, anyone who joins gets $10 credit on Rue La La...cool! (Note that the credit is good until June 15.) Rue La La offers a focus on high fashion and just opened "Little Rue", a baby deal branch (partnered with Toys R Us!) for the kid/parenting sector. Rue is a fun site that often has great brands and offerings. Another cool thing about Rue La La? You pay $9.95 once a month and then get free shipping the rest of the month. Cool. Especially when you see their deals and the brands they carry. One of the best kids sales so far...FAO Schwarz!
- Pure Citizen
- An eco-conscious, responsible company unlike any other. This one is more for all you mamas and daddies out there, but benefits the entire family. You'll only occasionally find something related to the actual "kid" category. While you willl find things like vegan diaper bags on occasion, this site really does cater to the whole family in that it brings pure and responsibly created products and sources from vendors that are creating healthier products and giving back to their communities. This is a REALLY cool company...a must see!
BabyHalfOff.com
Below Is A Sample Of Just One Daily Deal At BabyHalfOff.com

BabyHalfOff.com - Where Everything's Always At Least Half Off
A Baby Deal Of The Day Site With Some Added Perks
Brands known to pop up on Baby Half Off? Here are just a few...Taylor Joelle, Milk Shirts, Baby Star, Pedoodles, UV Skins, Agoo, Kalencom, Woombie, and Baby K'Tan.
- One of the coolest things about BabyHalfOff.com that makes it unique from other daily deal sites is that they have an archive where you can browse through deals you may have missed and purchase them. So you may have a chance to score a great deal if you have second thoughts the next day and wished you bought something.
- In the archive section of their website, you can also sometimes find double deals. Happy hunting!
- Occasionally BabyHalfOff.com will offer more than one vendor in celebration of a holiday or if they've got an abundance of great deals to pass along.
- You can sign up for their newsletter to get even more daily deals and make the most of other special giveaways and promotions.
- Orders are promptly packaged within 1-2 days of placing your order and BabyHalfOff.com ships to both the US and Canada (though Canadian orders have longer shipping time.)
- Another BabyHalfOff.com bonus is the "Baby Shower Blast". These come up every few months and they're really fun! Hope you catch one!
- The downside? Sometimes the shipping negates the fact that you're getting an awesome deal.

Which Baby Deal Of The Day Site Is Your Go-To Place For Bargains?
BabySteals.com
Pictured Below You Can See One Of The Many "Steals" Know To Show Up On BabySteals.com

BabySteals.com Has Some Great Deals!
A Traditional Deal Of The Day Website For Baby Products
- Great products offered! BabySteals has some really fun bargains and often has some higher end products at great discounts. It is always fun to see what they have featured each day. Here are some common brands/products that have been know to crop up on BabySteals.com: Mimi the Sardine, Motherlove, Ergo, Petunia Picklebottom, OiOi, JuJuBe, Babylegs, Aden + Anais, Haba, Itzy Ritzy, Skip Hop and tons of other great ones!
- Nice website. This site also has a really nice site design with good images of the products offered.
- Contests and giveaways. When you visit BabySteals.com, check out their blog to enter the latest contest or giveaway. While there may not alway be a contest going on, you never know what you will find on the blog.
- Decent shipping prices. You'll find the shipping prices on BabySteals pretty reasonable, especially if you are only ordering one item. They always have flat rate shipping that is shown on the home page, so you know before you ever put the item in your cart exactly what purchasing one item will cost you. Also, BabySteals tells you up front how much it will cost to ship each additional item.
- Three item per style limit. Many of these type websites have a limit on how many items you can purchase. This helps keep the bargains coming and helps protect their site from being abused...i.e. people buying all the stock at the steep discounts and reselling everything on eBay. Thanks for wanting us all to enjoy the bargains, BabySteals!
- Free local pick-up. They are based out of Utah and allow free pickup for locals. Wish I lived in Utah!
- LIGHTNING FAST Shipping! BabySteals.com has become known for their extremely efficient shipping practices. It's not uncommon to place and order on Monday and get it by Wednesday or Thursday of the same week!
- BONUS! Here's the little known link to the BabySteals.com archive! You can search through dozens of leftovers from past daily deals and purchase them. There's almost always something interesting on here. Here's that link: http://www.babysteals.com/dailydeals/archive.php
- An increasing amount of eco-friendly green items offered on BabySteals.com. The quality of BabySteals.com merchandise in my opinion is on the rise. I find more and more fantastic things at razor-sharp deals on this site and the green offerings are on the rise.
- The downside? BabySteals.com has a significant fan base. (Last I checked, almost 10,000 on Facebook. To give you an idea, I am not one of those fans and I check BabySteals every day!) While this is awesome for BabySteals, you do have to be on your toes if you like a product on this site. They have been known to sell out of a product within the first 15 minutes of it appearing on their site. They usually sell out of the best items and colors, etc. rather quickly. So you won't have a lot of time to ponder whether you really are dying for that new AllyZabba blanket or Halo SleepSack. I was kicking myself when I missed out on the Ergo Baby Carrier they had up recently. It was the organic one in a great color for a PHENOMENAL price...the one time I slacked off on checking this site...

Here Are Some Past Items Offered On DOTD Sites
There Are Countless Other Daily Deals Out There, So Check Back Often!
GaGa Deals!
This site is worth going "GaGa" about!

BabyEarth GaGa Deals
Not Quite A Traditional Baby Deal Site...But SO COOL!
Here's how the GaGa deal works. Every hour on the hour, during weekday business hours, BabyEarth will post a "GaGa" deal of one product. Basically, as the clock counts down the 60 minutes until the next hour the price of the product continues to drop.
- You have the chance for several great deals each day. The only catch is you have to be willing to check back frequently to see what's new with the GaGa Deal. People have found unheard upon bargains with these deals. You just have to catch the right deal at the right time.
-
It's a gamble! You decide how long you want to watch something before you decide to buy. You could see that an item is only at 40% off and decide to wait until it gets up to 50% off. However, the 40% off price was so great that it sells out super fast. Other times, you may gamble on something and the item gets up to 90% off. Some products sell out in the first 30 minutes and others last the entire hour and continue to count down. The latter doesn't happen much though at the prices on this site.
Also worth noting is that you could buy something at 50% off and see that you're getting an awesome deal, but then later see that if you had held out, you could have gotten it for 70% off. Once you put the item in your cart, you are locked into that price, so don't click "buy" until you're absolutely ready to buy. And then buy it fast before it sells out! - Great brands! BabyEarth is a very well known website and is known for featuring quality products. So their GaGa deals are usually really super deals on current name brand items.
- Awesome Deals To Be Had Depending on how fast something sells out, you may see it go quickly for 20% off or get up to 90% off before it sells out.
- The Downside There is one major downside to this website and that is the shipping cost. Sometimes you may see an absolute steal of a lower priced item as a GaGa steal, for example a small toy or a book. However, the shipping cost for small items is often a deterrent for purchasing the deal. I once found an amazing book as a GaGa steal for less than $1. However, with shipping, I could buy the book on Amazon for the same price. This tends to happen more often than not with smaller priced items. For that reason, the GaGa steals are better on larger ticket items.
Tips on Shopping Deal of The Day Sites
It's Not Rocket Science, but You Can Easily Avoid Some Potholes When Bargain Hunting Online!
Eco Baby Buys
A GREEN Daily Deal Site!
EcoBabyBuys.com
Daily Deals on Green Baby Products
- Non-toxic and eco friendly! What sets this company apart? EcoBabyBuys.com has a mission to find non-toxic, environmentally friendly, fairly traded (and stylish) baby products. Sure wish there were more options for parents out there with these values in the products they sell! Some brands EcoBabyBuys.com has been know to offer at fantastically discounted prices? Bumble, Melissa & Doug, Builti, Play, Bum Cheeks, Under the Nile, Fuzzibunz, Bobux, Itzy Ritzy,
- Quick Shipping TimesEcoBabyBuys.com generally ships within 2 business days of placing your order. So no need to wait by the mailbox too long.
- The Eco-Friendly Difference? EcoBabyBuys.com uses recycled packaging materials, boxes and paper as well as efficient printers and soy-based ink. They also encourage consumers to choose USPS shipping as an option, although they do provide other options. The reason? The mailman's already on his way to your house...no one has to make a special trip to deliver your package. You can also choose a paperless invoice. Way to go, EcoBabyBargains!
- Extra Eco-Friendly Awesome Steals! EcoBabyBuys.com also has some extra products featured on the sidebar of their website in addition to their main baby bargain. This is a nice touch, because it's so frustrating to buy something off of a daily deal site and then see something on that same site the next day that you want and either have to place a second order or forgo the deal because of extra shipping charges. Also, the discounts are steep...most are 50-60% off retail...awesome!
- The downside? 3 big ones. 1) The EcoBabyBuys website sometimes runs VERY slow. (Reminds me of dial-up days!) Really...I mean S-L-O-W. 2) Also, once you've placed your order you get a generic "your cart is empty" screen, so it's hard to tell if you've placed your order correctly or not. You have, but you don't know it. 3) High shipping. EcoBabyBuys seems to have higher shipping rates than most (they are calculated based on what you get, so it's hard to tell for sure), but it's not always a bargain when you factor in the high shipping rates. Other than these issues, this is such a fantastic site, with truly GREAT products at AMAZING prices.
GreenBabyBargains.com
Pictured Below Is One Of The Past "Green" Bargains Featured On GreenBabyBargains.com

GreenBabyBargains.com Offers Green Bargains Daily
A Deal Of The Day Website Carrying Exclusive Green Baby Products
The thing that makes this site unique from the rest is the "green factor". Don't we all want the most baby-friendly, planet friendly things for our kiddos? Well, this is the site where you can find those elusive "green" deals at great prices. GreenBabyBargains.com usually posts new items sometime around 10am Central time also, but the time can vary slightly.
- The "green" factor. Let's face it. Our kids are growing up in a world that seems to get scarier by the minute. It's nice to have a company that is dedicated to bringing things to us at a great price that are gentle on our kids and on the environment...and are cute too! One of my favorite features of GreenBabyBargains.com is at the bottom of the page. You will actually find a section called "The Green Factor" which tells you why the product is considered "green". Think of it as educational shopping experience! It really is hard to say no to such great reasoning.
- Great visuals. This site often has multiple sizes or colors of an item, clothing for example. They do a great job of offering different picture icons that you can click on to view the color or style you're thinking about. Plus, they load really fast.
- Great product descriptions. GreenBabyBargains.com usually has good product descriptions of the product that you're thinking about buying so you don't have to go off of their website to research the company and/or product they are featuring that day.
-
Bonus bargains! What's better than one bargain at a time? More than one bargain at a time! While GreenBabyBargians.com does indeed function as a traditional DOTD site by featuring one deal at a time, they have a super handy little section where you can click for bonus bargains. These are usually a few leftovers of past deals and you never know how many will be listed or how fast they will sell out.
Brief update on this feature since I wrote this lens: The "bonus bargains" have not been appearing as frequently as they used to. Some days, they are there and other days, they are not. Sometimes over the weekend they will have a 3 day sale. - The downside? Green Baby Bargains has taken on new ownership and there have been some bumps in the road. Occasionally they do not have a deal up and their site is blank. Check back in a day or two and there will probably be something else up. However, I will say that the products now haven't been as good as they used to be, although they have been improving over the last couple months. They also often have the same types of products up there...how many teething necklaces can you have really? This used to be one of my "must-check" sites and now it's more of an occasional one for me. I really hope to see the new management grow GreenBabyBargains.com up to the caliber that it used to be. I still think it's worth check though, because every once in a while GreenBabyBargains will have something awesome that you won't want to miss. I've missed a couple of really awesome deals that I would have snagged in a heartbeat if I checked this one more often.
Here Are Links To Some Great Baby Deal-Of-The-Day Sites
All Have Their Own Merits...Check Them Out Today And Soon Everyone Will Be Asking You Where You Get Your Awesome Baby Products At Such Great Prices!
The upside? You can get some really phenomenal deals on these sites that you could never find in a regular store or most any other place online for that matter. If you're a stickler for quality products, but aren't willing to pay the usual prices, these sites are a must-shop!
- babysteals.com
- A great baby DOTD site. They have some fun deals...you just have to catch them! On their really awesome deals, they have been known to sell out in mere minutes...and then you have to wait an entire day for the next deal.
- greenbabybargains.com
- A newer DOTD site and green at that, they are rapidly growing in popularity. Solid green baby products, great prices. This one is a must check!
- mamabargains.com
- This site is slightly different from the rest...and a lot more addicting! The reason is that instead of posting one deal a day, this site posts one deal at a time. So as soon as one deal sells out, the next one pops up. Your refresh button will become your best friend!
- tottlers.com
- Tottlers.com used to be a daily deal site. While they no longer offer a daily deal, you can still find out about great bargains for baby stuff on their forum. It's still worth checking out.
- babyhalfoff.com
- A half-off baby bargain site that brings practical deals your way every day.
MamaBargains.com
Check MamaBargains.com Multiple Times Throughout The Day To Score Some Great Deals

Mamabargains.com Is A One Deal At A Time Bargain Site
Find Great Deals All Day Long At MamaBargains.com
Don't say I didn't warn you.
- Multiple products per day. Mamabargains.com is probably the most addictive of them all. Rather than post just one deal a day, mamabargains posts one deal at a time. So depending on the amount they have of any given product, there could be 1 product offered per day or 9...or more! You just have to keep hitting refresh to find out what's next. Some products you may find on Mamabargains include: Fleurville, Lexie Barnes, Uppababy, Baby Star, Easy Walker, Kate Quinn Organics, Beco Baby Carriers, Rileyroos, Kidorable and Svan...and may more!
- Little running "mamas". One of the greatest features of this website is that there are little cartoon preggo mamas carrying their purse and running towards the word "gone". This is a really fun feature to track how fast things are moving and to decide if you have time to think about a purchase or if you should act now to make sure you get that darling blankie that your little DD or DS just has to have. I have to admit, I sometimes hit refresh on products I have no interest in just to see how fast things are going on the site. Even my husband has gotten into mamabargains.com.
- This company has GREAT customer service. They have only been in business for a little over a year and really focus on super friendly customer service.
- Extremely steep discounts. Of all the DOTD sites, you can usually find the best discounts on this site. Everything is 50-80% off retail. So go ahead and splurge on that designer diaper bag! *Note: Here's an update since I wrote this lens. Mamabargains now offers things at 40-80% off, instead of 50-80% off. Occasionally, they get a bigger brand and aren't able to discount it much at all. One time they had a popular, although not super expensive item on their site for only 12% off. What's the point of buying from them at this price, especially after you add shipping? Pretty sad they compromised on this...it was one of the things that made them really stand out from their competition. And even if it's only every once in a while, if your site says that you offer things at 40-80% off, good business practice dictates that you stick to what you advertise you are all about. Still a great site, you can still get super deals, but just pay attention to the discount before you click "buy".
- Good variety. Mamabargains.com has great variety. They have a number of high end items like strollers or designer bedding sets for infants as well as lower end products like clothes, shoes, and toys. And you'll occasionally find an item just for mamas...it behooves you to hit that refresh button!
- Did I mention the "Playground"? This is a forum on anything and everything. There are product reviews, you can request products or you can just hang out with other mamas (and daddys) and talk about your kiddos. This is a great feature if you are thinking about buying something featured on their site. Watch out though...you can literally spend hours on the Playground.
- Local pick-up. I have to admit, I have a wee bit of jealousy for all those Salt-Lake City dwellers. They have free local pickup at the mamabargains.com warehouse.
- The downside. Nobody's perfect...so the downside of mamabargains.com is the shipping. I have almost purchased many items and decided against it once I realized that the shipping for the onesie I had in my cart was almost as much as the onesie itself. However, it just depends on how much the item is worth to you. In most cases, the cost of shipping is still minor compared to how great a deal you are getting. Also, Mamabargains.com used to only offer items at 50-80% off, but sometimes they now offer less of a discount...bummer!
Buy Fleurville on DOTD Sites
Fleurville Has Some Of The Most Functional Green Products Out There
The Slingtote (pictured below) and the Lexie Tote (not pictured) are exceptionally functional for moms on the go and offer two great size options. Both are sized generously, but still not too big for easy carrying with a kid in tow. The Lexie tote is bigger than the Slingtote, so it is a better size for parents with two kiddos. Many diaper bags are also a generous size, but hard to see into the bag to get what you need quickly...a must for parents. Not so with Fleurville. The pockets are intelligently placed and ample sized and the design of the two bags mentioned above make it easy to find what you are looking for.
Fleurville also makes an even bigger bag, the Mothership (not pictured), for those looking for an even bigger diaper bag as well as many other great bags, lunch boxes and travel goodies.
Fleurville Sling Tote, Black
Amazon Price: (as of 05/26/2012)![]()
These products have been known to crop up on more than one DOTD site and they are ABSOLUTELY fantastic! They offer several sizes, styles and fabrics for their bags. Their products are eco-friendly and quite honestly, some of the most functional bags out there. Believe me, I did my research. Not to mention that if you get one of their diaper bags, it doesn't have that "diaper bag" look. You know what I'm talking about.
There are rumors that Fleurville may stop selling their products to discounters like DOTD baby sites. If you find one on a discount site, more power to ya...if not, these are still worth checking into for the sheer genius design and superb looks of their bags.
TrueCuddles.com
A Weekly Deal Website

True Cuddles
A Canadian Weekly Deal Site
- Cuddle Clearance They do have a clearance section where you can have your chance for past "cuddles". However, there is not usually a ton of leftovers on here. Then again, you never know what you will find.
- More than just a deal site. TrueCuddles.com is more than just a weekly deal site. They have a blog, a resource section and also do reviews and giveaways.
- TrueCuddles doesn't always offer a weekly deal. More often than not, you'll see a weekly deal on their website. But on some weeks, be prepared to see referrals to other great deals around the web.
- The Downside? TrueCuddles.com is a little bit hard to navigate. While the weekly deal is featured on the first page, it takes a few clicks to actually get to the page where you put the deal in your cart. Not a biggie, but it can be a little cumbersome. Also, their website is really cute, but there's a lot to look at on there.
Find Fleurville On Ebay
You Can Also Find Great Used And New Fleurville Products On Ebay
If you're looking for truly THE BEST diaper bag in regards to functionality, I have never seen a better alternative to Fleurville. If you can't find these on a Baby Deal of the Day site, then eBay is the way to go to find the best price on Fleurville diaper bags/product.
RIP To These Baby Sites
This Is the Baby & Kids Daily Deal Graveyard
- MockStarBaby MockStarBaby.com was a quirky alternative baby site...think Pac Sun for babies. Unfortunately for all those baby rockers out there, this site is resting in peace.
- BabyBloop BabyBloop.com was a pretty traditional one deal at a time site...until one of their deals remained up on their website for months. I can only guess what happened to BabyBloop. But if you're looking for them, they are no more. Sorry.
- Tottlers Tottlers.com used to be a daily deal site...then they abandoned the daily deals and became a forum for kid/parenting articles. Now they're gone. They were a great resource and I'm sorry to see them go.
BabySteals.com and MamaBargains.com Duke It Out!
From your votes in the poll, it looks like BabySteals.com and MamaBargains.com are the two Baby DOD giants! It's time for a face-off!
IT'S YOUR TURN! IT'S A DUEL BETWEEN BABYSTEALS.COM VS MAMABARGAINS.COM. WHAT'S THE NUMBER #1 REASON WHY YOU PREFER ONE OVER THE OTHER? TELL US WHY YOU LOVE THE ONE YOU LOVE!

BabySteals.com
HHS says:
BabySteals, hands down. Their website interface is much more user friendly, and their shipping speed and pricing is far superior. Plus, I like that I know when the deal changes - I guess MB causes too much anxiety for me - I might miss something, lol!
Rosanna says:
I love babysteals.com! They always have great products, and receive my orders ALOT faster than other online baby sites. Hands down, this website is created for mom's in mind
casey says:
MamaBargains has a lot of repeats and they are closer together.. I like the variety of baby/ kid steals and when they do repeat items, it's a longer amount of time between
Armenia says:
Babysteals because you can check the archive although mamabargains often has the same stuff for cheaper
Maggie says:
BabySteals.com all the way!!!
Silviya says:
Both are good websites and to be honest there are a lot more similar websites for deals. The problem is that nobody has time to flip through all of them in order to see where the best deals and the cutest finds are. I and a few moms share our best deal finds every Friday, so you dont have to waste your time. Have a glimpse at our slideshow this week http://www.momsshoppingengine.com/moms-top-rated/22/Great-Deal-Finds-for-Babies-and-Kids%2811.04%29
wilkin says:
i love babysteals.com
BigMac says:
They both have their +'s. I'm a SLC dweller so I've been to both warehouses and met their employees face to face.
The biggest + to babysteals is their speed. Most of the time the product ships (or is available for pickup) the same day you purchase it because they have the entire stock on hand. They re-feature left overs less because babysteals has an archive where you can shop the left overs. Their email updates about your package and tracking are far far ahead of what mamabargains offers in that department.
Mamabargains. They feature many new and neat first time products and generally their discounts are 50% or more (so sometimes the same item can be a little less on mamabargaibs than on babysteals). Because I'm local the complaints about shipping cost are not a factor for me. To me the 1 negative is that ship dates are 10 days or so after the feature because they only purchase what they're able to sell. There is a plus side to this as well, and that is the discounts are deeper because they don't have to make up for any inventory that doesn't sell like babysteals.
Both have excelent Customer Service and leave nothing to be desired there. The website layout, I give the upper hand to babysteals. It's easier to navigate and doesn't have all the advertisements. Babysteals also ALWAYS shows real life pictures of children wearing/using the featured item, where mamabargains does not so size etc. can be harder to gage. They've both got me checking them, but I like that Mamabargains keeps you guessing or waiting for a tweet for their next featured deal. I've had to pull the car over and make a purchase on my phone to ensure I got some items.
Upperhand... babysteals but both sites do a fabulous job. :)
Cloie says:
I like them both but I think I've bought more on BabySteals and the shipping is really fast!
gina says:
I love both - but the super fast shipping at Babysteals wins my vote!
MamaBargains.com
mihgasper says:
It has slightly bigger selection in my opinion...
melissa says:
the number of deals per day always varies and the customer service is great!
Hayley says:
I love Mamabargains! AWESOME customer service and super fun people. And the deals rock and are often cheaper than the same items on babysteals!
laurie says:
Mamabargains CS is the best!
Jenny1970 says:
Mamabargains is the BEST! They have fantastic customer service, great deals, and awesome shipping (they don't charge a handling/packaging fee like other ODATs....).
daping1981 says:
Introduce one great bargain deals shopping site for you http://amazontopdeals.net
Sonya says:
I love the Mamabargains grab bags and good customer service. Plus there are new deals all the time!
PiccadillyPunkin says:
It's a TOUGH choice! I'm going with MamaBargains.com only because you never know when a new deal is going to pop up so you're always on your toes...but they're both pretty awesome!

- I love these sites, but I live in Canada and many don't ship to Canada. May I suggest perhaps including this in the info on each deal site so us Canadians aren't disappointed once we're in checkout and unable to purchase! Thanks!

- This was pretty thorough! Man you know your baby deal sites! i agree- totally addictive! I would add a couple as well. I was doing some research tonight and found a few new ones myself. I don't yet have wee ones, but plan to soon. I have been scouring the boutiques locally and the net for quite some time and save pieces here and there that are too cute, and so affordable, that I can't pass up.
Tonight i discovered Kids.Woot, and Baby Half Off. I would also recommend Plum District, which is location based- even better, right?!
I have been searching these daily, or weekly at the minimum, and find amazing things:
Haute Look, My Habit, The Mini Social, Gilt, Totsy, and Zulily. These sites post new deals every day, and have multiple items listed. These deal sites also have items listed for a few days at a time.
Happy hunting!

- Thanks, Glorianna! KidsWoot is on my list of ones to add..I have a few not on here that I need to update too! :) The other ones are flash sale sites...check out my lens with that list here: http://www.squidoo.com/baby-flash-sale-membership-sites. (All of the ones you have mentioned are listed on there and I agree...they are AWESOME!) Maybe I'll add a quick list of those here too in case people don't come across both lenses. THANKS so much for the ideas!!! :)

- I like the fact that you focused on a specific category of items that offer a deal of the day. Your 12 tips for shopping on dod sites is great.
In my case my lens focuses on "deals of the day" in general. Keep up the good work.
