Dealing With a Breakup? You're in the right place!

Dealing with a breakup can be one of the most challenging situations a person can face and is not exactly the easiest topic to write about so bear with me as I try to help you figure out how to deal with a breakup.

Due to the vast amount of emotions that are involved in dealing with a breakup, this subject can be very hard to swallow. I've attempted to piece together a few ideas to maybe help you while you're traveling along the road of dealing with a breakup. This article is just a fraction of the information and help you can find in this book, There is life after what's his name!

Choosing Who You Talk To

a vital part of dealing with a breakup

The first thing that comes to mind when dealing with a break up is for the person that is dealing with the breakup to run and talk to whomever will listen. Make sure that your sources are reliable. Emotionally driven, bad advice is a VERY dangerous combination. However comforting it may be to talk to someone, could you imagine getting the wrong advice from that person and immediately acting on that advice? As hard as it may seem, this might be a good time for you to spend some good quality time to yourself.

Spending Time Alone

another important part of dealing with a breakup

Specifically taking time out of your day for yourself has many great benefits. One of the main benefits is the ability to relax and clear your head or cool down. This will allow you to have a better perspective on your situation and give you the ability to make a more logical and less emotional decision. There are several things you can do alone that can also be very productive.

A Few Things To Do

activities to consider while dealing with a breakup

Exercise is a great stress reliever, a very healthy decision and not often considered when dealing with a breakup. Staying home can be very productive too. What a great time to undertake all of the projects you've been putting off for so long. My personal favorite is surrounding yourself with nature. Being around things like trees, water and animals is a great way to reconnect with who you really are.

Something Not So Easy To Digest

another point to ponder while dealing with a breakup

One thing that must not be overlooked, as difficult as it may be, is the fact that the person you are breaking up with is in fact a human being just like you. I know what I'm asking can be very hard to digest, especially if you were the one who was dumped. This person has their own challenges in life just like you and you know just as I do that these challenges aren't always the easiest things to deal with. Isn't that what brought you here?

Hopefully This Helps

good luck!

In closing, as you are handling the sometimes overwhelming task of dealing with a breakup, I hope that in some way, shape, form or fashion I've helped you out today. Learning how to deal with a breakup can be a very trying time so try to stay focused and not let your emotional attachment to something cloud your logical thinking, spend some time alone and really start evaluating the people who give you advice. Dealing with a break up is hard enough, don't make it any harder. Don't forget to check out "There's Life After What's His Name!" by clicking here. Good Luck and God Bless.
