Most budding DJ's will find that they get a thirst for it and as their skills grow so do the remarks of respect and encouragement from those around the DJ. Gradually as their mixing skills blossom the audience begins to become wider and more numerous with an increase in the noise around the DJ's skill. Even so at this point even with an army of supporters getting your break on to the House Music scene, DnB Music scene or Hip Hop scene (or any other scene for that matter) can feel like an impossible mountain to climb. So, how do you climb a mountain? There is simply no
substitute for hard persistent work. You have to get good feedback about your mixsets and your skills. Having friends and family telling you you are the next Roger Sanchez means nothing, they might not want to hurt your feelings. The best
advice will always come from impartial advice given by people who know what they are talking about but don't necessarily know you.
