Do Hearts and Flowers Really Demonstrate our Love?

How do we demonstrate our love? Do we do it with hearts flowers and valentines?

Or do we show how much we really care with something much more real and substantial.?

Yes, I realize that now is the time of year when people begin to think about Love Hearts, Flowers and Valentines. And don't get me wrong. I just love Hearts and Flowers.

With some it is the beginning sparks of romance, while with others it means they have formed a real and more enduring love and commitment.

The purpose of this material is to give you some ideas on how to show your love, now and always. Yes, real love and commitment that goes along with it. When you have real love and commitment you have vowed to love each other and look out for each others interests - forever.

When you really care, it should show. It can be felt when we give our all, when our commitment is UN-conditional, and when it really means something.

People that really love you want YOU, not just some present.

That's what this page is about-real true long-lasting love.

Please give this a chance and check it out. Decide if you feel like it has value or not. Then if you will, please rate it and sign the Guest-book. Your comments are valuable.

I do hope you enjoy it.

Sincerely,

How to Demonstrate Real Love

A few practical long lasting demonstrations of love

Demonstrate Real Love

How are we to really demonstrate how much we love those closest to us as well as look out for their interests?

One way is by really caring for them in the long-term. That is completely different than only considering the short term.

When a child cries again and again for cokes and candy, do you give in to them and only think about their short sighted wants? Or do you think about the long-term disadvantages of giving them all that sugar?

That's what I mean about real love and commitment. We want our families to have good health that will last for a long time. For our children we want them to be able to grow up healthy happy and strong, and we want them to be capable of having good relationships. That takes real commitment and planning on our part.

So I mean demonstrating our real love with good healthy nutrition and even adding some regular Activity into the lives of those we love.

We could add a few delicious green and fruit smoothies to our day, increasing the consumption of whole foods. As you know real whole foods are so much healthier than processed ones that have so many chemical in them.

What about learning what type of diet is healthier and then creating ways to improve our families' lifestyle? If we have been in the habit of getting our supper by going through a drive through restaurant a few evenings per week, we might want to begin to eat healthier foods and even learn how to prepare real foods in our own home kitchen. We would also want to have whole real foods on hand to make easy yet delicious meals at home.

Some nutritious meals take less time to prepare than going out to get a pizza or burgers and fries, yet they are not only quick but delicious and nutritious too.

Next - Let's Add a Little Fun

Another thing we can do for those we love is by adding more activity or fitness into our lives. You know, let's have a little fun.

Everyone at every age needs regular activity. It doesn't have to be regular exercise, it could be adding a neighborhood weekly baseball game, taking the entire family on bide rides, hiking or going skating. Or, when we have snow, lets build a snowman or have a snowball fight.

Learn to do active things besides sitting in the house, watching TV, surfing the internet or playing video games. Those activities (generally speaking) involve no movement at all, and just promote weight gain and obesity. Our bodies were created to move - so love your family enough to get them to move. But, make it fun!!

Pictures - Frozen Moments in time to Remember

Family Album - Show Love

The entire family will enjoy the togetherness, laughter, and family camaraderie and will get the benefit of more activity as well as more fun and moments to remember. And, don't forget to take pictures to add to that family album. You will enjoy reliving those moments for years.

Take a little time and think about what your family enjoys; first with food and nutrition, and then with activities that each one in the family enjoys. Of course, you must also take into consideration the ages of each. I am sure that you as loving parents or grandparents can add many nutritious foods and fun activities to promote a healthier lifestyle for those you really love
