Choosing The Right Skin Care- Where Dermavisu Fails

The consumer spending on cosmetics in increasing per annum and this year too it is expected to grow. Among the cosmetic industry, a large market chunk is captured by anti ageing products pre- dominantly anti wrinkle creams. This is primarily because these days, many people have started to see effects of ageing earlier owing to various factors like effects of junk food, irregular lifestyle, presence of free radicals in the water and other contents. Many products are launched in the market to counter this effect on skin.

Dermavisu is a skin care product which rose to popularity in 2007. It was made as a skin care serum which supposedly had a good effect on the skin. However, over years, it has shown a marked decline. This was because some other creams like Dermaxin came with a superior blended formula and even better results.

Components of a Good skin cream

Any good skin cream should always have -

· Ability to moisturize the skin.

· It should have a good quality anti oxidant agent.

· Some component of the cream should have anti inflammatory property.

· Any anti wrinkle cream is bound to have a collagen stimulator in the skin.

The research on the dermavisu shows that Hydra-55 H30 Water is used as an active ingredient. According to the manufacturer statement, this is a specially refined water molecule which helps other ingredients to penetrate deeply. Thus this is a water based product. The other ingredient in dermavisu is SNAP-8 which the makers say is a variation of the popular peptide called argrieline. This one peptide is a proven entity to boost skin tone and muscle relaxation. However, there is nothing really new in this one as Argieline is a major compound in many other skin care products. This is known to reduce the depth of the wrinkles by relaxing the skin. The same principle is used by Dermaxin.

Where Dermavisu fails

The point that goes against the dermavisu is the cost. At $ 249 it does not seem to be really all that powerful and effective as it claims to be. Also there are no contact numbers about the makers of the cream and hardly any other plus point of the service. This obviously raises serious concerns about the accountability. Even the customer reviews are taken from a third party website, which means we cannot contact the people whose testimonials are used.
