    I grew up in Alabama and when I was a kid my family went to Panama City many times on summer vacation. I lived in Panama City from 1985 to 1990 and loved living there. I love Destin. Nothing better than the view from the bridge over the Destin pass.

    This is why we totally recommend Destin and Ft Walton Beach as fabulous wedding destinations. So much to do and so beautiful. Thanks for sharing all the activities there are to do...will definitely share this with our brides :)

    Oh gosh ... you know what? I think it has been many years since I first visited Destin ... and I am sincerely hoping that the beauty of the place is not compromised by all that oil in the gulf ... you know?

    I have seen pictures in the last 24 hrs. that show residue on the beaches. So, so sad. If the beaches are already stained, I can only imagine what is happening to the ocean life. You really don't want to get me started on this though. I have already been extremely angry and frustrated by the mishandling of that spill. (Spill, my foot! More like a flood.)

    I love Destin...it is such a great place to kick back and relax. I've also gotten some of my best sunset photos in Destin. Thanks for showing me some places I haven't seen before. Excellent lens!

    My family went to Destin a few years ago. We had a blast. It is a very beautiful place. I'm hoping we can go back this summer.

    Oh now I want to go to Destin Florida! With the snow still all over the ground here even the sharks, seaweed and alligators sound attractive!

    I haven't been, though I live in Florida. ;-) Great lens on vacationing in Destin, Florida. Looks pretty and lots of fun (doesn't that describe all of Florida?LOL)
