A collection of my lenses about Devon
The joy of sharing
I am really enjoying sharing my county of Devon with you. All of the photography is mine and it has been a delight to travel around with my camera capturing these scenes for you. It has also made me more aware of the beauty around me. When you live in a place for so long there is a tendency to take things for granted, when one should be appreciating one's surroundings. I was particularly struck by the fact that I had not realised how splendid the church at Cullompton is until I came to photograph it. Look around at your surroundings, maybe you are missing out on appreciating them yourself. As the poet said,"Look thy last on all things lovely, every hour." Look at them as if you are never going to see them again.

- Lovely lensography! Must go and visit the one about "Seat'n" which I'm enjoying saying in a Devonshire accent in my head.
This: "Look thy last on all things lovely, every hour." brought a tear to my eye and I shall remember it the next time I walk past Alfie's bargains on Cullompton High street ;)
