The Diamond Cameo

What we call diamond cameo is not a cameo made out of diamond. It is a shell or stone cameo with embed diamonds. The diamond cameo could have one or more diamond embed in the figure's shape.

It could be diamond embedded in the figurine's necklace, and earing, or hat pin. Diamond can also be embedded in the frame. A diamond cameo is called a cameo habille.
The price of diamond cameo runs usually higher because of the precious stone embed in them.

Most diamond cameos may have a gold (yellow or white) or silver frame.

The diamond make the cameo original and stranding out form other non-diamond cameos.
