Unisex Cakes
For those moms to be who don't know the sex of their baby to be or choose not to know
I have two of the unisex cakes I make in the photos. I use green or yellow ribbon and matching baby items. My favorite (so far) is the yellow ducky unisex cake in the intro photo. It has 3 rubber duckies, yellow baby bottle, yellow pacifier and orange spoon and fork set. The other one has green ribbon, green bottle, 2 green baby rattles and a Precious Moments toy. It's A Girl
Diaper Cake
Here is one of the girl diaper cakes I made. I used pink ribbon and this one has a Tweety theme. The bottle, rattle and pacifier are all with Tweety and of course pink, as well. It's A Boy

Chocolate Brown & Pretty Pink 3 Tier
I love this one! Includes 67 size 1 diapers, pink mittens, lotion, shampoo, pacifier, topped with a pink teddy bear. This was a custom order. I also made a card to go with it. How to make a diaper cake
For 2 tier: 56 For 3 tier: 67
Disposable diapers (size 1 or 2)
Bag of rubber bands, different sizes
Bottle, pacifier, toys, etc.
Wide ribbon of choice
Cardboard and tissue paper for cake "plate"
* I use size 1 or 2 so the mother can have it for a little while before taking it apart to use the diapers.
Roll each diaper and secure with a small rubber band. Once all diapers are rolled, begin putting them together to make the layers. You will need to use the larger size rubber bands. Round them out to the size you want and they look like layered cake pieces. You will have to work with them to get them all in place like you want. Place the smaller one on top of the larger one. Wrap the ribbon around the "cake" covering the outer rubber band so it does not show. To secure it, use a dab of hot glue. You can take out a single diaper from the top layer and replace with a baby bottle. Decide where you want to place the baby items you choose and secure with ribbon.
You can use flowers, lace or other decorations, be creative!
Note: I place mine on a piece of cardboard the size of a cake plate and cover with pink, yellow, green or blue tissue paper. You can decorate it as well if you choose.
I sell my cakes for $25 each for 2 tier. The 3 tier sell for $35. You can find them in my webstore at http://pamela2heaven.blujay.com

The new craze is the cute-sy cloth diapers that are "green" as well.
Here are some samples of the pre-made cloth diapers. A lot of people are making them on their own.
