3 sure tips to lose weight: My Experience with Strip That Fat.
I've tried a fair number of diet plans now... and the key to losing weight and keeping it off turns out to be pretty simple. I tried all kinds of things, and though I got on the right track before I bought it, a program called "Strip That Fat" ended up having so much good info, that I just couldn't help sharing!
Heck, I'll even save you the money and tell you what I learned that worked!

If you're interested in a quick fix, then this really isn't what you're looking for. Quick fixes don't happen in the real world unless you feel like surgery... and even then you're still stuck with the bad food habits that'll put you right back where you were eventually.If you want a diet plan that works real fast, I'm afraid you're straight out of luck...
the body is only capable of losing 4 pounds of pure fat a week or so if you're very overweight. And if you just need to lose 15 pounds to be set? 2 pounds a week is probably your max. if you lose much more than that, then:
-You're losing water, not fat. Bad because you'll just gain it back, and you need to have enough water if you're going to function properly.
-Even worse, you're losing muscle... which will lower the amount of fat you can burn.
So any programs that claim you can lose more than about 4 pounds in a week aren't diet plans that work.. at least, not if you want to keep the weight off. But! Read on for some tips you can put into practice today that'll get you on the right path!

I've got some of the tips and tricks that helped me the most on this page, but there's a whole lot more content there than I can write. But! Hey, it doesn't need to be perfect... start now, you can tweak along your way, yeah? The worst thing that'll get you is putting off until tomorrow what you can do today!
Lord did I ever have that problem for a long time... still do more than I should, heh.
So onto the Tips! Tip #1: Change your Expectations
There are no miracles here.
I know I said this above, but be deliberate about this. Start a journal, start keeping track. It's good to have a little accountability, so I'd recommend peer trainer. It's basically a web 2.0 weight loss journal... pretty nifty, eh?If you're too shy even for being social on the internet though, Fit Day, Spark People, and Calorie Count are all pretty awesome. But bottom line! Make REASONABLE goals, and stick to them!
Seriously though, all four of those above are free. Pick one and use it.
Really, this one's tough... though, I know.
It's real tough since Americans are used to instant results, and admitting that you have to set reasonable goals is hard. But honestly? How long have you tried dieting? If you have a wedding or something and need to lose weight fast, fine. But the sooner you get used to losing weight the healthy way, the better. Then you'll not be dieting anymore at all... you'll be looking for good, healthy ways to eat all the time that'll lead to a newer, thinner you!
Tips for making a diet plan that works #2: eat more to lose weight
it's okay to throw the dog a bone sometimes, enjoy life!
But. If you always do that, you can hit a wall pretty easy where the weight just won't come off. I hate that. The thing that really helped me out was adding in one day a week where I ate as much as I wanted. Funny, but it actually works.
And the 'eat more to lose weight' works in another way too... any diet that's too strict sucks. Even if you don't fail, it's way harder than it should be... so go for the three bite rule.
Okay, so maybe this one takes /more/ will power than the no bite rule depending on what your splurges are, but splurge with a healthy friend if you need to. Take your three bites of ice cream or whatever, chew slowly, and enjoy the taste. Don't splurge more than once every few days or once a week, and what'll it hurt? BLOG IT WHEN YOU SPLURGE. And how much. Be honest, if you're using peer trainer it'll work, trust me.
Ignore the above tip though if you're prone to binging followed by guilty lying (okay, I've been there... heh). But even then don't be too hard on yourself, just go back over your intent. /why/ you're doing this, and whether or not you really intend to do it.
Tips for making a diet plan that works #3: finding what you enjoy.
What do you like to eat?
Ideally, you're a fan of fruit and indian food. Yeah, fine... but what about those from the south that just can't get enough fried chicken and fried okra? Well... that's a little tougher, and the answers depend on each individual. The Strip That Fat diet generator helped me out a lot, but a few hard and fast rules to run by... how close is it to the way God made it? (Or... um... the process of change in the inherited traits of a population of organisms from one generation to the next, if you prefer that instead of God).The more natural the food is, probably the better off you are eating. Not that you need to eat rabbit food all the time, just.. stay away from things that are emerald green and neon pink.
So What Now?
Start today man!
The biggest thing that'll keep you from losing weight is not starting at all.
Did you catch that? It's important!
Strip That Fat is great if you want some step by step guidance and some help making a meal plan, but really... just pick something today to change. Just don't starve yourself or do something ridiculous like only eating grapefruit for a while... trust me. It's... not a good idea.

- i hate the size i am i want to loose weight not just for me but for my children to i want to be able to run around the yard with them and not feel tired and out of breath, i want to be able to walk into a shop and not be looked down apon becuase of my size and be able to grab a size 10-212 off the rack and go i no i can wear this. i want to be able to say hey i am not a over weight person anymore and know i can help others that feel down and out cause they can't loose the weight . MY life today changes look out world here i come no more hiding my face and feeling ashamed the door is open and i am taking the first step to freedom
