This is a honest Digi 003 review. is it really worth it? Thgis is a must read for anyone who is thinking about purchasing this newly released music production system. After several rumours, Digidesign has finally announced the long awaited replacements for their very popular 002 and 002R interfaces. The new models are called, to no real surprise, the 003 and 003R. As with the M Box 2, It is very obvious that these are not intended to provide anything drastically different from their predecessors. There are however some new features and several nice improvements, but the basic operation or theory behind the products hasn't really changed, and yes, they still come with the highly respected Pro Tools LE DAW software. Like the 002, the 003 brings together a multi-channel audio and MIDI interface with an eight-fader smooth control surface. Although it is similar to the digi 002, the improvements that the digi 003 has makes it a real winner!
