My experience of Direct TV
We had been thinking of switching from cable to satellite for some time but were a little afraid that we would have a bad experience. In the end we decided it would be safest to go with Direct TV and I am happy to say we made the right choice. We have got an absolute ton of channels and even a brand new digital video recorder that lets us pause and even rewind live TV. There are so many packages available that there is always something to suit everyone. We were going to go for the cheapest "family" package which contains 40 channels plus local channels for about $29 but in the end we opted for the "Plus DVR" package that includes over 185 top channels plus all the local channels and even includes the DVR for FREE! so we could throw out our old DVD recorder and VCR. The package is less that $55 and worth every cent. Basically, if you are hesitant about signing up with Direct TV then don't be. They are fantastic value!
