WELCOME TO MY DISNEY PHOTOS

Disney World has become a very special place for me to find my love of photography and let out my inner kid again. In 2006 I arrived at Disney World as an adult with an attitude that this would not meet up with my expectations. I was wrong. The minute I saw the castle I was hooked and began taking as many photos as I could. I am working my way up to better digital cameras but for now I hope you like these photos as much as I do.

My trip reviews, in a nutshell

Our Disney trip of 2006. This was where I fell in love with the Disney experience. I had been there as a child in 1974 but did not remember much about the trip. When I turned down Main Street at the Magic Kingdom and saw the castle done up in the gold decorations and all the characters inlaid into it, I was hooked! The smiles of the cast members, the service, the food and the park hopper addition to our total package which allowed us to visit any park we wished during the day, made me feel just like a kid again!
The rides, the shows, the fireworks and everything else put a grin on my face that even surgeon could not remove. Copy and past the link for gallery into your search box and hit go.

Our Disney trip of 2007. Trip. As I go back through the photos, I am amazed at the sight of my daughter getting older right before my eyes. My big fear into planning the 2007 trip was that she would have reached an age where she wasn't gonna be excited about Disney anymore. While she didn't want to do the autographs like she did in 2006, she did find other avenues during this trip. This was the trip where we really got hooked on pin trading. and she enjoyed getting her face painted a few times.Copy and past the link for gallery into your search box and hit go.

Our Disney trip of 2008. Well, like all families that get hooked on Disney, we went back again in 2008. This time I wanted to get a little bit more into photo taking however my cheap 3 megapixel camera would not survive the trip. It became damaged half way through the vacation and I only was able to take half of what I wanted to get. Still, I got some fun images and it was not a total loss. We also had a chance to do Downtown Disney which offered me some new subject matter to shoot.

Our Disney trip of 2009. Disney for me this year was about taking really good photos and trying different things. I bought a 12 megapixel high quality HD digital camera and went after those cool night time shots the other camera would not take. Shots taken during the Wishes fireworks show turned out very nice! The dining at Disney this year was awesome. My favorite was the Coral Reef. Copy and past the link for gallery into your search box and hit go.

5 things you shouldn't miss!

Going to Disney is an experience everyone should really do at least once. There is so much to do that one trip will rarely cover it. Some things not to miss out on during a first trip:
1. Disney's Wishes fireworks display at Magic Kingdom
2. Epcot's Illuminations fireworks display in World Showcase
3. Downtown Disney for all the best in shoping and browsing
4. Fantasmic Show at Hollywood Studios
5. Try pin trading with the cast members who work at all the parks. It's really fun

In the end however, it really is what makes you smile the most. Crowds will be anywhere you go. Why not go where the rewards are worth the wait? Oh, and take that camera out and dust it off! You will want to take lots of pictures.
