Snow White

Snow White was the first Disney Princess. In 1937 she appeared in Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Snow White is a beautiful 14 year old girl with flawless pale skin, brown eyes, rose red lips and raven black hair. She was a princess by birth, and at some point in her life her jealous stepmother, The Evil Queen, became her only caretaker. She remained cheerful and kind no matter how poorly her stepmother treated her. She never lost faith that one day her true love would come and take her away.

I re-watched this movie recently. A friend of mine was visiting from Cleveland and we were in her hotel room watching television with Evy. I thought the movie was a lot creepier than I remembered it. Disney used to be darker than they are now, aren't they?

I think Snow White is the first movie I ever recall seeing and I can remember wishing I was Snow White although I was a little suspicious of apples for awhile.
