Disney World At a Glance

As you may know Disney World consists of 4 Major Theme Parks. It is also complimented by smaller activities such as their water parks Typhoon Lagoon, and Blizzard Beach and an interactive video game arcade known as Disney Quest located in Downtown Disney. Downtown Disney is also home to Cirque Du Soleil and incredible night time show that should not be missed.

There is just so much to do at Disney World, that we definitely suggest making a rough outline or itinerary of everything that you find most interesting to see or do. You will also want to leave some free time open to visit the many shops and malls or even hit the beach which is only about an hour away.

There are many different ticket packages for Disney World Tickets, but if you just take a few minutes to understand them, the decision will become very easy. Disney World calls all of their tickets "Magic Your Way" tickets so don't let the name confuse you. The first decision when buying your tickets is to decide on how many days to plan out for your trip. Keep in mind once you purchase any 3 day package, Disney makes it very cheap to add more days to your ticket, so if you have just a few hours in the evening, don't hesitate to spend just a couple dollars to be able check out the fireworks at Magic Kingdom or Epcot or even catch the Fantasmic show at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

For first time vacationers to Disney World, a Base ticket (you choose only one of the 4 parks per day but can exit and re-enter that same park on the same day) can be more then enough to keep you satisfied. There are so many things to see and do inside of the parks this is may be a bit overwhelming for some first timers. However, if you're feeling adventurous you could always upgrade to the Park Hopper tickets, which will give you unrestricted access to all four of the Disney World Parks for each day of your multi day ticket. Visitors, for example, can enjoy the Animal Kingdom park in the morning, and still have time left after the park closes to hop on over to the Magic Kingdom for their "Wishes" Fireworks or even the Illuminations light show at Epcot. And with any Disney ticket switching between parks is very easy with the use of the Monorail or a Disney Bus to take you between the parks. Free transportation between the parks is included with your tickets. You can purchase your discounted Disney tickets from one of the oldest contracted ticket vendors in Central Florida. Visit their web-site www.MapleLeafTickets.com for pricing and ticket info on all your favorite attractions.

There are other choices at Disney World besides the 4 main theme parks. There are the extra parks or attractions that you can visit with the water park fun and more option added to your ticket which includes Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, Disney Quest, Disney's Wide World of Sports complex or 9 holes of Golf at the Oak Trail Golf Course.
