EPCOT

The EPCOT theme park has two main areas. Future World and World Showcase. They are separate and are very different from each other.

The traditional entrance to the park is through the Future World entrance - dominated by the huge geodesic sphere of Spaceship Earth.

Future World creates an impression of the future. Here you will find rides and attractions based around pavilions which explore past present and future innovations.

World Showcase

A celebration of different counties and culture surrounding a beautiful 40 acre lagoon.

Eleven pavilions represent the architecture, food, shopping and culture of Canada,United Kingdom,France,Morocco,Japan,USA,Italy,Germany,China,Norway Norway and Mexico.

Orlando Florida has great weather but of course it does rain sometimes! But Disney thinks of everything. They even build systems into their attractions to keep guests as comfortable as possible and avoid the elements.
Space Ship Earth, the giant geodesic dome which dominates EPCOT is fitted with a gutter system at the belt line of the sphere. This catches the rain water and funnels it into the World Showcase Lagoon. Those people at Disney really do think of everything!

Want a different way to tour EPCOT? This is a grea tour which runs every day before the World Showcase opens at EPCOT. Travel around on your own personal segway with your Disney World tour guide. This tour costs $85 per person and is open to those aged 16 and up and 250 lbs or under. Bookings must be made in advance on 407 939 8687.
