The Plot Thickens
While exploring a human house Tinker Bell finds herself trapped by a young girl named Lizzy. Vidia the only eye witness to Tinker Bell's capture must face a storm to find the fairy camp and get help. Vidia pulls together a rescue party of Tinker Bells dearest friends; Fawn, Rosetta, Silvermist, Iridessa, Bobbles and Clank. As they struggle to reach Tinker Bell they will face their own adventures as Tinker Bell learns what it means to be a friend.

Tinker Bell & the Great Fairy Rescue
1Vidia gets wet: Tinker Bell is trying to figure out how the car runs without being pulled by a horse. She pushes buttons and turns knobs and one attempt results in water pouring on Vidia head who was below the release valve. Vidia had been standing there trying to talk Tinker Bell into staying away from human things.
2Vidia saves Tinker Bell: Vidia's wings dry just enough to fly up to the table where Tinker Bell is standing and push her out of the way before Mr. Grifith traps Tinker Bell. Vidia ends up being captured instead.
3Tinker Bell gets mad: After Mr. Grifth thinks Lizzy is lying about her fairies he tries to remove her drawings. A red faced Tinker Bell finally lets Mr. Griffiths see her as she starts to yell at him. Too bad humans hear fairies voices as bells.
4Vidia tells the truth: Vidia explains how she locked Tinker Bell in the fairy house to teach her a lesson. She expects to find recrimination but instead finds compassion and acceptance.
5Tinker Bell finds lost things: Tinker Bell finds buttons to help with a project. She picks them up and passes them to Vidia who promptly tosses them back on the ground. Finally, Tinker Bell realizes that she isn't carrying them but before an argument can ensue Tinker Bell is distracted by the fairy house.

About Tinker Bell and the Disney Fairies
Tinker Bell
Tinker Bell is a Tinker fairy who enjoys fixing things and especially utilizing lost things. She resides in Pixie Hollow and is very curious by nature and has a slight temper.
Tinker Bell is captured by Lizzy, but they become fast friends in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. Sometimes she does not listen to good advice and ends up in trouble.
Silvermist
Silvermist has long dark hair that she wears down. She is a water fairy, but unlike Lizzy's drawing she does not have blue skin. Silvermist loves to hang out at the Babbling Brook and her friends call her Sil. In Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue she uses her talent to soften the impact of their boat crashing after it falls down a waterfall.
Rosetta
Rosetta lives in Rose-blossom chalet in Pixie Hollow. She has red hair and a cute southern accent. She is a garden fairy, which is ironic, we find out in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue, because she does not like to get dirty. Rosetta is sweet, kind and does a great impression of a mad Tinker Bell.
Fawn
Fawn is the tom boy animal fairy who is known for a long brown braided pony tale.
She can talk to various animals, and even was able to tame the cat in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue by using her knowledge of what plant would have a soothing influence on the kitty.
Fawn lives in a carved out pinecone in Pixie Hollow.
Iridessa
Iridessa, or Dess for short, is a beautiful and talented light fairy.
Iridessa is known for giving light to lightening bugs and for temporary blinding a motorist to prevent him from running over fast-flying fairy Vidia and the rest of her fairy friends in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. Iridessa brings light and love where ever her wings carry her.
Vidia
Vidia is the fastest fairy this side of Pixie Hollow. She is a fast-flying fairy and her talent is rare. She lives alone in a Sour plum tree. Vida makes mistakes but doesn't run from them. She tries to fix them. Vidia tries to save Tinker Bell in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue. Unfortunately she is captured while trying to save Tinker Bell and needs to be rescued herself. Vidia learns in this movie that sometimes she needs a little help from her friends.
Lizzy
Lizzy is a young human girl who has been drawing fairies since she was three years old. She discovers a trapped Tinker Bell in her fairy house and brings her home. Lizzy befriends Tinker Bell and she learns about real fairies and the fairy world. She lives with her father, Mr. Griffiths, who doesn't seem to have time for the young daughter and her fairy tales.
Dr. Griffiths
Dr. Griffths is a single father, of a young girl name Lizzie, who studies butterflies and believes everything can be dissected and understood if properly examined. Between his responsibilities at home and at work he cannot seem to find enough time to spend with his daughter.

Each Disney Fairy has its own unique personality and temperment. Different people embrace different characters for many different reasons. Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue Thoughts
I Love this Movie: Do you?
This movie is the best of the Disney Fairies saga, because we finally get interaction between the fairy and human world; between Tinker Bell and Lizzy. In the first movie we get a glimpse of Peter Pan's famous Wendy but there is no real interaction between Tinker Bell and Wendy.
In this film we get to see Tinker Bell form a bond with Lizzy and understand the possibilities of human/fairy communications; the good and the bad. There is the possibility of great friendship and understanding, seen between Tinker Bell and Lizzy, but there is also the reality of fairies being treated as specimens in a jar or worse (squished beneath a slide in a microscope). I think isolated contact between a couple of fairies and humans becomes possible when the person's motives are pure; however,if fairies were revealed to the general population it could have catastrophic consquences.
I think Tinker Bell comes to understand that she needs to listen to the advice of her friends and follow the rules, but I also think this is a lesson Tinker Bell will have to keep repeating. She is stubborn and occassionally pig headed. Tinker Bell missed her friends when they were apart. I think she realized much like Lizzy and Mr. Griffiths are a family so are Tinker Bell and her friends. When Tinker Bell shares her birth story with Lizzy I think we see a difference of how bonds are made in the human and fairy world. That is not to say, either bond is worse or better than the other.
I must admit my favorite character in Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is Vidia. Sure, she's the reason Tinker Bell could not escape the fairy house but she had the best of intentions. Vidia more than made up for this mistake with her strength and empathy. She could have washed her hands o the whole mess and let the other fairies try and save her. A cold fairy would have done so.
Vidia is often described as such but the movie proves she has feelings. You could argue that she came along on the journey to protect herself but she proved herself when she got captured saving Tinker Bell. Saving Tinker Bell was a split second decision. She did not have time to wonder if what she was doing would benefit her. She acted, dare I say as a friend, revealing her desire to be apart of something more than herself. This is seen when Rosetta and the gang dissuade her of her guilt and welcomes her to the group. Vidia's instincts are to handle events by herself like she wanted to when she was stuck in the mud, but she is slowily learning to trust.
Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue is the best Disney Fairies movie yet!
