Dog & Cat Health Insurance

With the rising costs of veterinary care and the fact that 63% of Americans now own a pet, many insurance companies that specialize in dog and cat health insurance have been born. Over the past 10 years, pets have become a part of the family, and their health care costs can be significant.

When pet care experts are questioned on the topic, most say that health insurance for pets these days is a matter of being a responsible pet owner. Without dog and cat insurance, unexpected pet health costs may be too much for some pet owners to afford, which will only result in the pet receiving sub-standard care in many cases, and in some cases, no care at all.
