Is Your Dog Suffering From Allergies? Your Dog Food May Be The Trigger. Learn About Homemade Dog Food for Allergies.

Did you know one of the most common triggers for your dog's allergies is his dog food? Yes, the commercial food you are feeding your beloved pet may be responsible for your dog scratching, loose stools, and smelly gas. But there is a solution - homemade healthy dog food. And it's easy to learn how to make your own homemade dog food for allergies. Your dog's health and livelihood are on the line.

What Triggers Dog Food Allergies?

Unfortunately, most dog food companies are out there strictly for profit. They may advertise that they care about your dog's health, but ultimately, they care about their bottom line. If they cared about the health of your dog, you wouldn't be reading this, because your dog wouldn't be exhibiting dog food allergies.

Because their primary interest is profit, they use the cheapest ingredients they can get away with to make your dog food. Now there are a handful of companies out there that take your dog's nutrition more seriously and DO provide premium dog foods (Sojos, Canidae & Innova, among a few others). But the majority of the commercial dog foods are, quite frankly, crap.

The cheap ingredients they use are so processed by the time they get to your dog they are pretty much void of the necessary nutrients and enzymes your dog's body craves. Their skin dries out and becomes "itchy". The cheap "fillers" in the dog food also trigger allergies. The majority of the food in most commercial dog food just doesn't have the quality nutrients for your dog's immune system to work properly.

Get Rid of Your Dog's Food Allergies

By controlling what they eat

First, when you make your own dog food for allergies, you put in it what your dog can tolerate and what his body needs.

I started with just one meat (beef) and one carb (brown rice). Both my dogs loved it. Over the next few days I saw Stella (mastiff), my dog, scratching less and less. Then one morning I realized Stella hadn't scratched at all during the night (she would ALWAYS wake me up with her 10 minute long scratch sessions in the middle of the night.) I was sold!

I've found that my dogs really aren't allergic to any food - except for the inferior commercial dog food! It was really more a lack of quality nutrients that gave the same symptoms as allergies.

As an added benefit, my dog's gas is not smelly (she could clear a room quickly before) and her stools are less (quantity-wise). May not mean much to you, but as I said before, she's a mastiff - think about it!

Now I get more creative with what I feed them, since I know it's not really the food that's the problem, but the quality they WERE getting. The Complete Dog Food & Nutrition Guide showed me everything I needed to know about my dogs' nutrition.

Cure Your Dog with Your Own Dog Food for Allergies

You Can Be Your Dog's Hero!

I feel like a hero - I saved my dog from all her scratching. OK, I didn't save her life, or then again, maybe I did. Maybe I added a few years to her life because her body won't give out early due to lack of proper nutrition. Maybe I kept her from getting ill because of all the dangerous additives and preservatives that she now doesn't ingest.

Whether I'm a hero or not, I can tell my dogs are healthier and happier, so to them - I am!
