Make Your Own Dog Biscuits

Delicious and Nutritious
These wholesome biscuits are so tasty and fill the house with such a wonderful aroma. Several minutes after the first batch is baking in the oven, our dog Maxxamillion will suddenly stop playing, sniff the air, and walk over to his favorite spot in the kitchen to wait for them. He recognizes the delicious aroma of these biscuits every single time. Not only are they a delicious treat for your dog, but they are also very wholesome and nutritious for your pet's health. The biscuits are made of wholesome ingredients that contain no salt or unhealthy preservatives.
The dog biscuits we used to buy for our dog contained so many preservatives, unknown additives and a surprisingly high fat content. Since our dog is older and has more health issues, we needed to carefully monitor his food, snacks and treats. These home made biscuits made a great difference in our dog's diet. A short time after feeding him a better diet and these biscuits on a regular basis, our dog seemed to feel better because he was more playful and walking around with greater ease. It felt good to know he was now eating healthier wholesome treats that not only make him feel better, but are truly his favorite treats.

Never Use Any Form Of Chocolate
We all know never to feed chocolate to any type of animal. Chocolate contains bromine, which is very toxic to both dogs and cats. Unsweetened chocolate is by far the worst to feed to your canine, as it contains a large amount of bromine. Bromine is a very harmful chemical, one that normally leads to death of your animal should he be fed any type of chocolate.
There are other foods out there that can be good or harmful to your canine friend. If you have any questions, you should always ask your veterinarian. Your vet will be able to recommended real food that is beneficial to your dog, as well as foods you should avoid. You can experiment with real food if you like - although you should never allow your canine to consume any type of chocolate.

- Great lens on homemade dog biscuits and treats! I have a little cookbook for cats that is really cute and informative. It was written by a veterinarian who seems to know a whole lot about feline nutrition. I have misplaced the book, but as soon as I find it I am going to make some homemade goodies for the kitties. I love your layout and presentation!

- I have made my own dog biscuits for the last few years, they definitely prefer them. They are a lot healthier as you know exactly what you put in them and only take a few minutes to make. I will be trying these recipes as I'm always on the look out for new treats. Nice lens.

- I'm totally going to try this! I have one dog in my care that I babysit daily while my sister is at work because he is diabetic and needs special attention. Do you offer diabetic dog biscuit recipes? Just wondering? I've only been able to find one manufacturer of them so they're hard to come by so if I was able to make them on my own that would be fab! Great lens! I'm going to share it on facebook for all the other dog lovers. You should consider starting a Facebook fan page or something for all these great lenses. I bet you would get a ton of followers!
