Don't make your dog suffer in the heat.
Let's face it, there are some days where it is so hot outside you couldn't think about not having your air conditioner on. How do you think your dog feels out there? Yeah the dog house provides some shade, but sometimes that just isn't enough. That's why a Dog house air conditioner is perfect for helping your best friend stay cool during the summer or warm during the winter.

How Air Conditioning Works
Dog House Air Conditioner
Dogs get hot just like humans do. While we humans have a built in temperature control system for our bodies called sweating, your dog does not. The canine equal to sweating is panting, and this is not very efficient in cooling off your dog on a hot summer day. The next time you see your dog panting heavily, think about installing a dog house air conditioner in his dog house. Your dog will feel much better all summer long, and so will you, because you'll know that you made your dog's life a lot better.Don't laugh! A Dog House Air Conditioner has become common, especially in areas that have both high heat and high humidity. In fact, more and more concerned pet owners are purchasing a combo unit that contains not only an air conditioner for their pet, but a heater, too. The cost is about the same as it would be to buy one separate unit for heating only, so it costs no more to make sure that your dog's house is a climate controlled environment year round. Some of these combo units also have a dehumidifier on them. This is a wonderful bonus for dogs that may have allergies. The filter in the dehumidifier will filter out dog hair and skin dander. A dehumidifier will also help keep moisture levels in your dog's house down, which should keep mold and mildew from developing.
When choosing a Petcool, be sure to check out how to install it. Usually, it is quite easy. The unit sits on the ground outside of the dog house, much like the central heat and air unit for your own house. You will need to cut a small hole in your dog's house in order to place a hose from the unit into the dog house. And, that's it! Your dog house air conditioner is now ready to cool your dog's house in the summer, and, if you chose the model that also has a heater, it is super easy to switch over in the fall of the year when the weather turns cool.
It will help your dog house air conditioner work much more efficiently if the dog house you install it in is insulated. An insulated dog house will help your dog house air conditioner to work at peak efficiency, and will help to save energy, too. Many people are afraid that the use of a Dog House Heater will cause their electric bill to climb, but this is not true. These units have been developed to be as energy efficient as possible, and will cost less than a dollar a day to operate. It is said that it uses less power than 4 light bulbs do. You can also use a type of thermostat on your dog house air conditioner that will make the unit automatically adjust to a temperature that you have chosen.
The dog house air conditioners on the market today have been specially designed to be safe to use in all kinds of weather, so you need not worry about the unit sitting outside in the rain. You may want to run the power cord into a piece of PVC pipe as an extra safety precaution to make sure that your dog cannot chew it under any circumstances.
Dog house air conditioners are what all the "cool" dogs will have this summer. Make sure your dog is in with the "in" crowd by buying a dog house air conditioner for him soon!

- I've also seen dog cooling mats, that they can lie on in the summer to stay cool.

- I think Dog House Air Conditioners make a lot of sense, particularly in tropical climes. It is cruel to subject a furry creature to excessive heat. Good topic and lens! 5*
