It's an awesome job because you can work when you want, dress how you want, you don't have bosses hanging over your head and being annoying, you can work as little or as much as you want, and if you're interrupted for some reason--no problem! I love it!

- 001- The Life Before Her Eyes

As the 15th anniversary of a tragic high school shooting approaches, Diana (Uma Thurman) flashes back to a time when her teenage self (Evan Rachel Wood) and best friend, Maureen (Eva Amurri), dreamed of leaving their small town behind for bigger things. As she relives the events surrounding the tragedy, drifting between past and present, Diana wonders whether she can live with the fateful choice she made.- 002- Bottle Shock

France's position as the world's top wine producer went unchallenged until 1976, when the Montelena Winery put California wines on the map -- a story delightfully told in this full-bodied tale about the heady early days of Napa Valley's success. Bill Pullman, Chris Pine and Freddy Rodriguez star as the dreamers -- and drinkers -- who dared to challenge the establishment, with Alan Rickman hitting just the right note as a toffee-nosed sommelier.- 003- Chariots of Fire

Two very different runners -- hotshot Jewish Cambridge scholar Harold Abrahams (Ben Cross) and rigid Presbyterian missionary Eric Liddell (Ian Charleson) -- compete for the British team in the 1924 Olympics, facing intense pressure and complex personal tests of faith. Hugh Hudson directs this edifying 1981 Best Picture Oscar winner, which is based on a true story. Ian Holm co-stars as Abrahams's mentor, Sam Mussabini.- 004- Roxanne

Fearless small-town firefighter C.D. Bales (Steve Martin) becomes smitten with beautiful stargazer Roxanne Kowalski (Daryl Hannah) but is self-conscious about his exceedingly long proboscis. The fair maiden has also captured the fancy of C.D.'s handsome but tongue-tied chum Chris (Rick Rossovich). C.D. thinks he's too ugly to snag Roxanne's heart, so he woos her vicariously by supplying his rival with florid sentiments and poignant poetry.- 005- Penelope

Forlorn heiress Penelope Wilhern (Christina Ricci) is cursed, and the only way out is to fall in love with someone of suitable stock. But how can she find her soul mate when she's sequestered inside her family's estate with only her parents (Catherine O'Hara and Richard E. Grant) to keep her company? Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon co-produced this untraditional fairy tale about a girl who bucks convention to create her own happy ending.- Try Netflix free for 14 days
