Twilight New Moon
The New Moon movie is where things heat up in the Twilight saga. Edward decides that he must leave Bella. Bella then turns to her old firend Jacob for comfort and companionship. Jacob is happy to spend time with Bella. However, Jacob is experiencing some changes. The presence of the Cullen family of vampires has provoked a response from the local Indian community. Jacob is unable to control his emotions, and leads to some odd behavior.
Bella is torn between Jacob and the now gone Edward, but her loyalty clearly belongs to Edward. Jacob know this, and he also knows the truth about the Cullen Family. Jacob distrusts the Cullens, in part because his metamorphosis is an attempt to protect the community from them.

Team Jacob or Team Edward?
Twilight New moon has made many fans becomes members of team Jacob. Taylor Lautner has lots of screen time, especially since Edward decides to leave Forks for the first half of the film. The differences between Jacob and Edward are stark. Edward is thin, pasty and pale. He has an awkward look to him. Jacob is dusky hued and muscular. Jacobs metamorphosis generates body heat, while Edward is known as a "cold one".The casting of the film may have lead to the defections to team Jacob. Taylor Lautner is simply more handsome than Rob Pattison. The book describes Edward Cullen as an adonis, being both physically large and attractive. Pattison is neither of these. Jacob on the other hand does fit that mold. He has gained muscle weight for the role, and the audience gasps when he takes of his shirt.
