Book Review of Dr. John C. Maxwell 's The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership
Dr. John C. Maxwell has been in professional leadership positions for over 30 years. He's focused his time and energy on doing what makes a positive impact on the lives of people.
As Dr. Maxwell traveled the world training leaders, he found people ask him one question time and time again. Leaders would ask, "if you were to take everything you've learned over the years, and boiled it down into a short list, what would it be?"
The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership is his response to that question. That's what he's promised, and that's exactly what he delivers in this book. John Maxwell communicates each law clearly, and in a straight forward manner.

Dr. John C. Maxwell - 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership Book Review
On with the leadership book review...
Ray Kroc, Theodore Roosevelt, Abraham Lincoln, and Princess Diana are just a few example of leaders who used these leadership principles to achieve great success in their lives and had a major impact on the lives of many other people.
If Maxwell's own words won't move you, the stories of these successful leaders will definitely get your entrepreneurial juices flowing. Dr. Maxwell uses them as highly effective examples of these law put into action in a way that many people just cannot wait to follow.
I don't have any major complaints about this book, but at 256 pages, it is a bit long for my taste. Then again, I say that about any book that doesn't have pictures.
The bottom line is, if you are a fan of John Maxwell (and who isn't?) you should definitely pick up a copy of The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership. Apply the laws taught in the book and watch your organization blossom and your business take off.

Video On The 10th Anniversary and Re-release of The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership
Why did John Maxwell change The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership?
He added two new laws and he changed the content of all the other laws. He says he changed 75% of the book!
These are the laws he added:
The Law of Addition (add value to people by serving others)
Focuses on values and principles and how to apply them
The Law of The Picture
People do what people see... it's all about setting an example.
And it's not what you say, it's what you do that counts.
It's about character... and ethics.
The greatest leadership is by example... we learn visually and leadership is a visual thing.
Dr. Maxwell also folded 2 old laws into existing laws because they were similar.
