I'm looking for some great on-topic lenses to add to my lensroll on this lens and to my featured lens modules on the lenses listed here. Have you got a lens about Goth Culture, CosPlaying, Gothic fashion history, Goth celebrities, Gothic books-movies-music, or costume making? Feel free to leave a link to it. Next time I log-in I'll stop by and check it out. I'll feature the ones that are on-topic for my lens, and lensroll most all lenses related to Gothic Culture.

PS: Don't forget to leave a star rating too. (See top of page). Thanks!

Last November 2008 I ordered some rather special items as Xmas presents for my friend. I wish I had read the reviews posted here before going anywhere near dracinabox. So many emails later, so many phonecalls, so many pleas, so many promises and still no sign of my order being delivered! In April i gave up and asked for the money to be credited to my debit card. Still no sign of that happening though 3 deadlines have now come and gone. This company simply does not deliver the goods. They are stealing from people and getting away with it scott-free! I have now decided to take matters to the Aberdeen Trading standards office www.tradingstandards.gov.uk/aberdeen/ as the company is based in Fife Street, Banff. I would like to suggest that all other disgruntled customers take a leaf from my book and do the same. Let's put them out of business!

No, you're not alone. I ordered in August of 2007 -- didn't get anything but a bunch of apologies every time I emailed them. spaced68 and you are right -- don't order from them! Maybe some people do get their merchandise, but why take a chance?! I think if 'Drac' cared about customer service, they would try to set things right with those of us who have been ripped off. There seems to be quite a few of us...

I ran out of room in the previous message....
but in short, all I want to say is: Drac in a box have som pretty cool stuff, fair enough. But waiting 6 months only to recieve something you didn't order, not to mention stuff that are not what the website says they are... it just doesn't seem to be worth it.

I've ordered some stuff from twice from these guys. No idea why I even bothered after the first time though. The first order consisted of a velvet and lace skirt, plus a waist cincher. When things finally arrived (6 months late) I was pretty disappointed. The skirt which was supposed to be a "one size fits all" must have been a size 0, because it didn't fit me at all (and I'm pretty skinny). Oh, and the material was wrong. It was supposed to have a lace panel in the back, which it didn't have. My waist cincher fits fine and the quality seems fine, but (again) the material was not what I had ordered. I guess I forgot about my bad experience, because a year later I ordered a pair of lace gloves. They took forever to arrive (and they probably never would have, had I not contacted them 3 times about my order) but I figured it was because they were "made to order" (according to their website). They arrived 5 months later, and guess what. They each had a tag that said "made in China".

so sorry you had trouble with them; I know a couple of other people have said the same thing, about having trouble with returns and refunds, I wonder if maybe they have expanded to much and need to hire more help to keep track of their orders? I hope you get things straightened out with them

I agree the clothes look good on the site. However, I unfortunately agreed a return of an item of clothing which didn't fit with Dorian, was assured I would be refunded as soon as they received the goods back and 2 months later am still waiting. They now have the goods AND my money and are ignoring my e-mails. Nice people!

I'm so sorry to hear about this. I've never had any problems with thier company before. I hope you can get things cleared up with them.

What you fail to mention when praising this company is that they are con men who take your money but cease to deliver the goods. We have been waiting since july for £400 owed. Doran is a liar who will fob you off with excuse after excuse. Just read other reviews on this company. They are a disgrace. We have started legal proceedings against them to try and recover our money.

I placed an order with Drac in a Box back in June this year. Its now end of November, still no goods, no replies to emails, they don't answer the phone. They claim I've been refunded, when I haven't! I keep getting palmed off by Dorian. Looking at other review sites online, I'm not alone! Plenty of other people have had the same experience! Don't buy from these people! Useless customer service and constant excuses!

Interesting lens on Gothic fashions. I especially like the Victorian Cornelli Bustle Skirt photo that you
    have on your lens.

    Thanks.
