- This is the first mock draft that i've seen that did not have a QB going either to Detroit or K.C. I completely agree with this. Even though both teams desperately need a franchise QB, Stafford and Sanchez are not worthy of top 5 picks. Stafford has the size and all the tools but you can't teach any 6'4 QB to be Matt Ryan. He doesn't have it upstairs to be a superstar. Sanchez, on the other hand, seems to have that "it" and comes from QB powerhouse USC but has limitations when it comes to size and arm strength. So, you have a chino version of Chad Pennington, also not worthy of top 5. Statistics show you can rarely go wrong with picking a cornerstone tackle that high, so i agree with the beef at the top. I also agree with Maclin and Harvin dropping a bit. Even though he has come on of late, no one wants to be Miami picking Ginn Jr. in the top 10 when you can get Desean Jackson at the end of rd. 1 or early rd. 2. Also I love that you have Maybin and M. Johnson goin top 20 already.
