Dremel Tools

Dremel is a manufacturer and distributor of power tools known primarily for its rotary tools. Dremel tools were originally developed by Albert J. Dremel, who founded the Dremel Company in 1932 in Racine, Wisconsin. In 1993, the company was purchased by Robert Bosch GmbH, and today it is a division of the Robert Bosch Tool Corporation located in Mount Prospect, Illinois. Dremel's rotary tools are similar to the pneumatic die grinders used in the metalworking industry by tool or moldmakers.

Dremel has created a number of high speed rotary tools, corded as well as cordless. Every tool has specific features that makes it unique in its class. Dremel has developed each tool to meet the highest quality standards to optimize your feeling of joy and comfort while working.

Dremel 300-N/55 300 Series Variable-Speed Tool Kit

The Dremel 300-N/55 includes an accessory kit that contains 55 different accessories. These include high-speed cutters, engraving cutters, sanding drums, grinding wheels, polishing buffers, drill bits, collets, a collet wrench and more. One thing that I found particularly useful was the speed settings section of the instructional manual that shows the recommended speeds for a number of different materials, including softwoods and hardwoods. This is extremely helpful, as improper speed can easily cause burning of the stock when cutting or sanding.

Welcome to Squidoo. To start your first lens, just think of something you really like. It could be a picture, a poem, a book or a craft project. The most important thing is that it be something very important to you. Then just start writing. Squidoo is an easy platform to write on but if you need help, just ask. Happy Squidooing, Evelyn
