Have you noticed that ever since on any holidays of the year, Christmas has the most songs? And even if Christmas Day is still 2-3 months away, you could hear different kinds of songs all over the radio stations so why wait for the Christmas Eve if you can start feeling it today through these Christmas songs.There are a number of Christmas songs released by different artists and you can expect not to hear the same song more than once. Songs vary from different music generation such as the great Bing Crosby classic "White Christmas" in 1942 to "Christmas Time For The Jews in 1995 by Darlene Love on Saturday Night Live which is by far the funniest segments done on the show.
Every Christmas season we look forward for new songs hoping for a new classic to be born. But many people still love old songs no matter how frequent we hear them.
Some go for the traditional songs like "Jingle Bells", "silver Bells", Santa Claus is Coming To Town" and those simple tunes we have in school. But at least there are a few people making songs that are modern and sometimes strange.
"Happy Xmas" by the late John Lennon is one of those amazing songs ever made. To list more, check out "Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer" as recorded by Elmo and Patsy. Due to its success, a cartoon movie was created out of this song in 2000. And even today, it is still one o the most requested songs.
"O Holy Night", "Away In A Manger", "Joy To The World", "O Little Town Of Bethlehem" and of course "Silent Night" can be heard in church on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Service.
Christmas songs truly makes this holiday season joyful and more special. Hopefully, every year during this holiday, more songs will be created to inspire us more and let us know the meaning of Christmas.

Immortalised by Chris Rea, this wonderful song prompts me to write to you all today. As we take to the Highway this holiday season, as we drive head on to the holiday, we are looking to see our family and loved ones and exchange gifts, spend time, and relish the moments together.
Yet, for many on the eve of the greatest credit crunch in nearly 100 years, many are maxed out on their credit cards, about to lose their jobs and run off the edge of the cliff called Debt. Is this something to celebrate, or should we turn round the car, go the other way, and run? But where will we run?
Let me tell you, we can today run right now to the Hill of Priority, to the Mountains of Order, and ask the very Creator of all to enter into your life and surrender the wheel to Him. Allow me to introduce the car manufacturer, the chauffeur of your life. His name is Jesus. Take a passenger seat and wipe the past mistakes away, wipe the debt away, and get in credit with the One and only Christmas present you will ever need. For God so loved the world that He gave to you His only begotten Son.
