Oil Paintings by Elizabeth Fiedel

I am lucky enough to be in the business of creating fine art and selling it through direct contact with collectors.  I do this over the internet via email contact or through Etsy under the usename 'Wrinklegrin', which co-incidentally is the name of my studio. Occassionally I list items on ebay under the same username- Wrinklegrin.

I am very proud to be a juried member of EBSQ, an association of Self-Representing Artists.  More about Self-Representing Artists is in the section below with that title.

You can see my profile and a portfolio of my work here:

You can read a review of my work here on 'Cuteable', a blog where I was a featured artist. http://cuteable.com/elizabeth-fiedels-artwork/926

Self-Representing Artists

Support Living Artists

As a Self-Representing Artist, I offer work for sale directly to collectors rather than through a dealer or gallery. Collectors will find Self-Representing artists at a variety of venues, such as at a local art fair, or through a myriad of online sites.

Why should you buy art work from a Self-Representing Artist? There are several good reasons. Here are a few of them.

Art galleries have limited space and therefore can only select a very small percentage of all available works. There is an almost infinite variety of work offered by Self-Representing Artists. By viewing artist portfolios, you can discover art work that appeals to your personal taste rather than the taste of a dealer.

Many collectors want to know as much as possible about the art they own. By purchasing directly from the artist, collectors can learn the story behind the work.

Many people want to own and display original works of art in their homes, but find they are put off by the cost when they shop at a gallery. By purchasing directly from self-representing artists, one can save the gallery mark up. Also, some artists are willing consider an offer from a buyer which would not be possible through a gallery or dealer.

Browse through the galleries on the EBSQ website. You will find literally thousands of works of art by Self-Representing Artists. Take your time, talk to the artists, and find exactly what you are looking for. It will be well worthwhile.

View and Vote!

Each month EBSQ sponsors several themed art exhibitions for member artists to participate in. Throughout the month and up until the final deadline, member artists submit their work. In the next week following the entry deadline, EBSQ patrons and members have the opportunity to vote for the piece they like best in each exhibit. If you want to vote, you can subscribe to EBSQ either at the free Patron level, or take the plunge and join as a full member.

Even if you don't choose to subscribe, the exhibits are a great way to see a variety of styles and discover new favorite artists!
