Get more for your money when you buy Easter dresses that can be worn more than once.

Many of us buy Easter dresses for our little girls every year. We want our little angel to look her very best in something she has never worn before for this special occasion. Maybe its for a church service, photographs, family gathering or all three. Whatever the situation it's always most cost efficient to purchase a dress that can be worn again. Children grow far too fast and will most likely outgrow it within a matter of months anyway, so getting a few extra wears out of it is a must for your dollar.
I like to choose an easter dress for my daughter that is pretty, has little or no tulle, and can be dressed up with gloves, hat, shoes etc. This way once dressed down it would be ok for a regular church service or a birthday party. I do try to get her pictures taken with the outfit at least once. At times when our budget wont allow for pictures I set up a photo area in the yard and take them myself.
With so much choice available to the consumer these days we have the flexibility to purchase based on our budget without giving up the special occasion look.

Why do I prefer Youngland and Bonnie Jean

There are several other brands that I favor as well. Bonnie Jean and Youngland are two of my favorites. Both are very good quality dresses made of durable fabric and securely stitched. Why they do typically come with a hefty price tag they are more than affordable from ebay or amazon. They can be found with little or no tulle underneath or with a lot whichever you prefer. They look very nice with accessories. I have never had one yet that shrinks or suddenly looks worn out after the first wash. They look great and most are machine washable. Then there is the one most important thing, they are comfortable. The arm openings and bodice actually match the dress size. Which is saying a lot when you consider much of what is available on the market.

The dress in the photo is a Bonnie Jean with a tag price of $69.99. I actually purchased the dress new for under $20. For an additional $6 I found the little eyelet handback with matching gloves. Shoes and socks priced under $10 as well. I bought the dress a size larger than she actually needed. You can tell it is loose in the photo. However, last years Easter dress has been worn for a few church events and now will be this years dress for spring pictures.

Other Great Brands for Easter Dresses

Finding a good dress for Easter doesn't mean it has to be top dollar dresses. You can find great dresses at great prices in various places and from various labels.
Accessories can make the outfit as many of us women know. Little girls like everything from cardigans, gloves, purses, shoes, hairbows and hats. The great benefit to that is that most accessories are very inexpensive.
Some dress brands that I really like and are easily available are Rare Editions, Limited Too, Blueberi Blvd, Good Lad and many more.
There is another benefit to good quality dresses. As long as it isn't worn out when your child outgrows it, you can resell it on ebay or amazon. These dresses never last long and usually sell for good prices.

Getting more wear for your money

Here are some of my tried and true tricks for getting the most wear out of my daughters dresses. First of all I try to purchases dresses that can be used again for pictures, church, family gatherings, etc. A lot of times this includes buying dresses either without tulle or with a removable tulle slip (can can style).
Another trick I use is that I typically buy a little loose, this allows more time for her to wear it again.
I highly recommend on machine washable dresses for the younger girls. Using a plastic bag over the hanger can help eliminate discoloration and sinus sensitive dust if closet hanging for very long.
Last but not least I like to accessorize. This allows the dress to be a little less flashy for the next wear and dressed up or down as necessary. I like to use gloves, shoes, hair bows and ribbons, hats and purses. All of these are things my little girl loves anyway.
