Many people who have easy home improvement projects have questions and who do they ask? Friends or family or even neighbors but what do you do when they are not around? You can't very well ask someone who is not there. So who do you turn to in your time of need? Well, when you have a question there are lot of different options when a real person isn't around. Firstly you can read up about home improvement in a book or magazine, secondly you can flick through a catalogue and hope they have answers to your questions.
Then there is my personal favorite. You can jump on your computer and go to the good old reliable internet. There is a world waiting at your fingertips. Whether you are looking for info on dehumidifiers or stairs, landscaping or shower accessories you can find it online.
That is where we come in. Make us your first stop when you have that nagging question about your easy home improvement projects and let us help direct you to the answer you are looking for!
Update For Easy Home Improvement Projects
After 6 months we are taking Easy Home Improvement Projects in a new direction

I know that it is kinda odd to date a post here at Squidoo. However this is an updated that will make more sense in the future having been dated.
In 2 weeks Easy Home Improvement Projects will be 6 months old.
1st I want to thank all of you who have rated and left comments for us. It is always nice to read that others appreciate the hard work that goes into a lens like this.
Now on with the update. Over the past 6 months we have had some ups and downs here at Easy Home Improvement Projects. This was only my 2nd lens that I created. Though it has never reached the rankings of my 1st lens it has done ok for itself. It has also been one heck of a learning experience for me. One of the things I have learned over the past 6 months is that people love video. So for that reason I am going to take Easy Home Improvement Projects in a new direction for the next 6 months.
That direction is going to be in video. I am going to be adding 1 or 2 new home improvement project videos here each week. In fact the first one, on replacing the threshold of your exterior door, is right below. Then each new video will be placed on top of the old one. Nope I am not going to make you scroll through all the old stuff to find the new videos. Though If you like the videos I would ask that you scroll down to our guest book (or just click the link) and let us know. We also would love to hear from you on what you would like to see in future videos.

Home improvement means you will start by understanding what you like. What sets off your personality? If you like exotic you may want to give your home the mirror appeal or else the jungle look. The mirrored tiles are great for designing kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms.
Picture it! You walk in your bathroom after decorating your home. You look in the corner of the room by the commode and notice the pinkish, green, white, purple, and brick mirrors setting off the blue light to the right of the area. The counter made of hard creamy tile is glitter from the light as well, while the floors are tiled with ceramic creamy tiles and the room feels fresh and clean. Wow, you think. When you feel good about your home, you feel good about you.
Thus, when considering remodeling your home you will need to look at other designs if you are not creative to help you reach the decision that makes your personality stand out.
If you do not like the exotic appeal, you may enjoy the original look. Thus, improving your kitchen could cost a few hundreds dollars as well, but once you finish you will feel better about self, especially if you reach the effect you want. If you like, the country appeal in the kitchen area, a few tiles could go a long way to reach the personality level you are seeking.
Imagine your kitchen with tiles over the stove area that brings a basket of fruit to the scene. Tiles can do amazing things to a home, and in my opinion, tiles are more appealing when designed right over any other covering or flooring in existence.

Where To Find Good Help
Help can be in the form of people or of course you can turn to technology! You can either use television, computers or even state of the art tools to get your work done. They are all great ways to help you in your quest for home improvement. Many people are looking for the best way to do up their home and everyone gives different ideas to everyone else. You can only choose the help that suits you though, don't invite any one along that is going to jeopardize the timeframe or the work that is going to be completed. Also when watching a DVD about home improvement don't change your mind half way through the project that you want it done another way instead of the way you had originally planned as this will make your hired help not in the best of moods!
Help is of course like I said very easy to find and of course you can get cheap labor slapping your mates on the back asking them for a favor so why not try that approach rather than contracting some very expensive professionals to get the work done for you! It is always cheaper in the long run to employ some friends and neighbors instead of contractors as you have to pay for their over priced labor charges and material charges. At the end of they day if you can't be bothered with all the hassle of hiring some help then just go for it alone, you may find out that it would probably be quicker than putting up with everyone else's demands and you will also get exactly what you want done without splashing out some extra cash!
