Easy Guitar lesson
Is learning to play the guitar one of the things in life that you have always wanted to do? Well, thats the way i felt, for sure!
My name is Harvey Jackson and i want to share with you my experience of eventually finding some easy guitar lessons online and learning to play the guitar.
After failing with some one on one Guitar lessons I eventually discovered that the best place to start was an online training program called Jamorama
Guitar Lessons for Beginners

But before you make a decision on whether to buy it or not, read this in-depth and honest review to discover whether you'll be making a mistake or not with Jamorama...
Whats in this review?
Does Jamorama genuinely offer Easy Guitar Lessons?
I wrote this review so that you can see for yourself whether Jamorama is actually any good (does the software work?) before you make a decision, and to help you make a better decision before you lay any cash down on another guide for learning guitar.Contents & Bonuses

- Song Pond - 30 days access + 2 free song lesson
- 30 days free subscription

Whats Included & Whats it all About?
Jamorama is jammed full of powerful video lessons, play along jam tracks and software games to speed up your learning curve.
Basically, it combines teaching and visual learning along with the ability to jam along to tracks to improve your timing. They claim that you'll be able to play virtually ANY song by ear after using their training material.
Also included are the step-by-step lessons, sound files, games and other resources, which I have to admit, makes up for a pretty chunky amount of material and software considering what I paid for it at the time.
They have all these special training techniques to fast track beginners and a library of the most commonly used chord progressions.
There's also a bunch of techniques that they teach you, from picking strumming styles, percussive strum, deadening, staccato strum, tricked out scales, hammer- ons, pull offs, transposing keys, vibrato, palm muting.
There are many other little tips and advice too, such as how to find dead cheap
guitars (lower than retail price) which is pretty neat!
Here's my Story
Easy Guitar Lessons
When I saw my best friend ripping out a solo on stage at a gig a few months ago, and watching all the girls swoon around him after the show (and some guys lol), I thought to myself that should be me! I wanna do that! I've always wantedto do that!
Playing guitar is just so cool, and I've always wanted to learn at least the basics.
Everyone says it's so satisfying when you can really play and jam with other people too, that I wanted to get started.
The problem is, as most people already know, it takes so long to learn to play the guitar, I would always get put off after a week or two of frustrating and unsuccessfull practice (if you can call it that).
One thing I've tried is going to a private tutor in my local town. but even ignoring the expense of a private tutor (and he was expensive), tutors are a pain for me as I have a hectic lifestyle with work and other stuff going on most nights.
I simply don't have the time to learn guitar around some other guy's schedule. I simply had to find some Easy Guitar Lessons that fitted into My life, My diary and my family situation!
The one thing that i did realize after talking with friends who were already in bands, is that most guide books and solutions don't help with timing and rhythm that is required to be a decent guitar player.
After a while, I stumbled across a review in a guitar magazine online. It's a program called Jamorama and I know, it sounds cheesy but, I actually bought the thing, and now I'm back with a review so that if you're in the same position of trying to learn guitar faster and more easily, then you may want to know about this guide before you get it for yourself.

I picked it up because it:
* It has Easy to Understand Step by Step Lessons,
* It Covers Beginner thru to Advanced levels,
* The Tutor (Ben Edwards of Degrees K band and highly acclaimed guitar tutor amongst many), is well respected and takes you through the modules step by step!
* The Software is highly acclaimed in the Top Guitarist Magazines,
* The Software teaches you with text, video and jam along tracks and there's also some cool looking bonuses such as a guitar tuner and metronome (which cost a lot of money from the local guitar store!).
Easy Guitar Lessons
Whats it all about and does it work?
Basically, it combines teaching and visual learning along with the ability to jam along to tracks to improve your timing. Also included are the step-by-step lessons, sound files, games and other resources, which I have to admit, makes up for a pretty chunky amount of material and software considering what I paid for it.
They have all these special training techniques to fast track beginners and a library of the most commonly used chord progressions.
Also, there's a useful section on how to read guitar "TAB" essential for more "technical" learners.
There's also a whole heap of techniques that they teach you, from picking strumming styles, percussive strum, deadening, staccato strum, tricked out scales, hammer-ons, pull offs, transposing keys, vibrato, palm muting.
There are other little tips and advice too, such as how to find dead cheap guitars (lower than retail price) which is pretty neat.
Remember all I wanted were some Easy Guitar Lessons, so after downloading the guides and opening the software inside Jamorama, it was pleased to see that there was massive value for what I got considering the low cost of the program.
All the training material is all easy to download inside member's area and I personally found that the software is bug free and it runs smoothly.
I was happy that the teacher, Ben Edwards makes things seems very easy to understand, he has all these videos where you see crazy angles of him playing guitar so that you can see exactly what he's doing. The videos are really well made (very professional looking and explain the basics very clearly too).
I found the training simple to follow along, but don't get me wrong here - there's still a lot to learn, and this is not an instant overnight fix to playing guitar like Clapton in one sitting, but is the best method I have come across that's for sure.
Jamorama Review
Does it provide the Easy Guitar Lessons you have been looking for?
The Good Points and the Bad
I have been using the Jamorama program for a while now, I would say that this is ideal for beginners like me, who don't have the time for private tutors anymore, or can't afford them either! With the way Ben teaches, I would say anyone who doesn't have much time on their hands would find the lessons convenient and easy to follow along with, without doing boring drills all night long.
Some Bad Points!
There are a few things I didn't like about Jamorama: Whilst I would still class myself as a "beginner", I think more advanced stuff would be needed within 6 months.
Also although the software runs fairly smooth and without glitches, it did slow down my PC quite a bit but, mine is not very powerful.
Finally, as I already mentioned some of the jam tracks are a bit cheesy, but at least there are a lot to choose from.
Some Good Points!
First things first I think its fantastic value for money and it clearly speeded up my learning curve dramatically (I saw results within a couple of weeks, and I only put in 30 mins per day most days)
Plus It was also great fun, so judging from what I've learned so far, the techniques I learned will take me to the intermediate level in no time at all.
Next, I have to say that the videos take a lot of the frustration out of the learning. I was not expecting the level of quality and teaching that this gut provides. Ben (the teacher) clearly made an effort to be different and his unique approach to showing angles of his playing really makes the learning "click".
Finally, I found that the focus on timing and rhythm are a really useful. These complete guides offer fantastic value for money and they are very convenient, meaning you don't need to use multiple programs and guides from all over the place to learn properly from A-Z.
Jamorama definitely offers Easy Guitar Lessons and is that it's a great solution for beginners to intermediate guitarists, yet probably not ideal for the more advanced players.
The software was very easy to use and is designed to be easy to use and understand what's going on. This I found makes it easier to actually stick to the learning curve without getting tied up in confusion and frustration, which other guides may leave you feeling.
Unlike costly guitar tutors that bored me with theory and never guarantee any particular results, what I like about Jamorama is that you essentially ARE guaranteed to improve your guitar playing within 60 days, or you can get your money back!!
So I would definitely recommend you go over to the main Jamorama site and go grab yourself some Easy Guitar Lessons!

- May be time to finally drag the RIckenbacker out of the closet, dust it off and try again - this looks simple enough for even me to get through
