Homemade Dog Biscuits Easy and Yummy - Only the Best for your Best Friend
Does your dog want a healthy and yummy treat?
Do you want a quick, inexpensive and healthy alternative to store bought dog biscuits?
You bake cookies for yourself, why not for your dog?
One day I was in the kitchen making chocolate chip cookies for my family. My dog was salivating. I knew that dogs should not have chocolate, but we know they love a good dog biscuit. So I said to my dog "Cody, Mommy will make you your very own dog biscuits. I promise". Well, a promise is a promise.
Needless to say, I made my dog his very own homemade dog biscuits. I was surprised at how truly easy it was to make them. And they were delicious. Ok. I didn't actually try them. They were for my dog. But, since they were all natural and I used ingredients I had on my shelf, I could actually eat them. However, there is always the chance that I might chip a tooth if I were to try and bite one.
Nutrition
Homemade Dog Biscuits are Healthier and Don't Use Preservatives
You control what goes into the recipe. Just like when you cook or bake. If you like a lot of cinnamon you add it. If you prefer garlic you add it. Or maybe you don't like spicy chili. Then you don't add in the cayenne pepper. By making your homemade dog biscuits YOU control what goes into the recipe. This is especially important if your dog has a weight problem or any type of dietary issue. You can alter the "fattening" ingredients and add more protein, reduce the salt or whatever is necessary to adjust the recipe for your dog's special needs.
Expense
Keep more dough in your pocket
It is easy to save money when you "do it yourself." Making homemade dog biscuits is a great way to save money since it is a lot less expensive to make them, then to go to the store and buy them.
Have you also noticed it seems like the cookies are gettting smaller, but the cost of the box is going up? So, by using ingredients already on your self you can make as many homemade dog biscuits as you need and whenever you want.
