EelKat's Blog Feeds
Now you don't have to go to my blog to read it! My blog can come to you, via RSS blog feeds. Every time I post a new post on my blog, this lens will automatically update itself to show that blog post here on this lens, so now you can read my blogs from Squidoo.
The eels are watching you. They know you are reading my blog.

Me: A Blogger
I like blogs nearly as much as I like eels. If you don't know how much I like eels, well, I like eels a lot!I started blogging in 2004. Star Log Pink was my first blog, though it is no longer updated on a daily basis. Last time I counted I had 32 blogs, but I think I've made a couple more since than. Most of them a pretty small, with only a few posts per month, if that often. Those blogs are each topic specific.
I'll only be linking back to my bigger blogs from here, since those are the ones that get updated most often.
One of the most common topics across all of my 32 blogs, is what others are saying. I read a lot of blogs, forums, and Squidoo lenses, and whenever I find something I like, I rush back to my own blog to talk about it and why I liked it and add a link to it so that other folks can find it, read it, and find out why I liked it in the first place. I often blogroll other folks blogs onto my own blogs, and post links to blogs, forums, and Squidoo lenses in most all of my blog posts, so if you are looking for new places to read, you'll find a lot of choices via my blog posts.

What Are The Best Free Blog Hosts?
Well, I've tried out maybe a dozen different free blog hosts over the years, unfortunately several of which were poorly run and disappeared only a few months after I joined them, a result of which the blogs I had with them, disappeared as well, and are no longer on the net. Most of those sites were WordPress sites, started by people who had bought the WordPress software and than set up their own hosting site. I think they must have been being run against WordPress ToS or something, because none of us was given a reason has to why the host suddenly vanished, but the only thing they had in common was the host had used WordPress software. So, after much trial and error with blog hosts, I finally realized that the only ones really worth using were the ones that had been around a good long time: BlogSpot (now called Blogger), MySpace, and LiveJournal. And so those are the companies I stick with and use the most. Xanga and FaceBook are pretty good as well, though FaceBook isn't a blog host, but you can certainly use your Super Wall as a blog, and I've seen some folks do that.
Is There a Reason For This Lens?
Kind of, yea. The other day someone mentioned to me that they had lost the link back to my blog. Well searching for a blog among countless millions of blogs, especially searching for a blog that changes both layout and title frequently, does make it a bit difficult to find your way back there, especially since it's a blog that uses the URL address of a completely different blog! (This blog is on it's third incarnation!)Well, since it's much easier to find my Squidoo account than it is my Blogger account, I figured, I might as well make a Squidoo lens for my blog. That way you have a better chance of finding it.
This Squidoo lens will only display the newest posts, however, so if you want to see the older posts or if you are looking for something that is listed on my BlogRoll, all you have to do is click on one of the blog post links, to head to my blog.
If you are just looking to read the latest posts, however, than you can do so from here without going to the blog itself.
NOTE: The java script links that display on my blog posts, while they display on this Squid lens, they are not clickable from the Squidoo lens, in order to click on those you'd have to go directly to the blog itself.
NOTE: EDIT: June 9, 2008:
As more of my blogs get added to this list, I have discovered that my mega long blog posts, take a VERY long time to load if I tell it to load even just the top 3 posts off each blog, so I've changed the settings on this lens, and now only the post titles display, here. Sorry, but it's easier to have the title display than to have nothing display at all.
