For the last two years or so, I have [when time and circumstances would permit],been exploring the possibility of making a full time living from working at home in the field of online network marketing.
There are many ways to make extra money using the internet, some of which I will be writing about later but this seemed to me to be the most profitable option that i could find.
I have to start by saying that I had no prior knowledge or experience in this area and I was truly amazed at some of the things that people were promoting.
I mean,
Who,in their right mind would actually believe this stuff?

which brings me to my first bit of advice for anyone thinking of getting into network and/or affiliate marketing,

When you see a webpage or promotion covered with pictures of sports cars and piles of cash,
Read it all very carefully,Those are valuable lessons in how NEVER to promote your programs or products for three important reasons.

#1 False promises create false expectations that you will never be able to make good on with your customers.

#2 Your name is You're single, most valuable asset in this line of work.
You're name is connected to everything you promote,
Unless you actually make the 6 figure incomes that these programs promise and can actually help someone to do the same,Why would you make these promises to a complete stranger in a sales pitch?

#3 The people taken in by these types of promotions are only looking to get rich quickly and are driven mostly by greed and at the first realization that some actual work may be required of them, They will be running to the forums and telling anyone who can read all about what a scam and a rip-off You and your your program are.

These people make bad referrals, bad customers and most of all, bad team members.

My advice would be to avoid all that by only promoting products or programs that you, personally have had good experiences with and have faith in.
If you treat people honestly and fairly,You will not only gain good customers but good friends that will not hesitate to recommend You to others.

Your first and foremost objective in this business should be building a base consisting of people that trust you and your judgment.

You will be told time and time again that you need a "List". In order to grow your business.
This is true in many respects,But...

That list is meaningless if it isn't filled with people that can believe what you tell them.
