EFT - The Acupuncture Energy Technique Without Needles
EFT or Emotional Freedom Techniques is based on the chinese acupuncture system.
EFT involves tapping on acupuncture points whilst thinking about an issue that bothers you. So far it has helped people with many issues including emotional and physical pain, confidence, weight control and fears and phobias to name a few.
EFT seems to be able to make a positive dfference to almost any life issue or challenge.

Emotional Freedom Techniques and Self Help
Here's a technique that you can use virtually any where
What do you do when you feel irritated, annoyed, angry or frustrated by someone or some event that hasn't gone the way you wanted it to?
Do you just fester, curse and do nothing? Do you take it out on your loved ones at home?
Here is a way that you can deal with those ordinary everyday niggles.
EFT offers you the chance to release any pent up tension, stresses or worries quickly. In fact for many people relief can be experienced in minutes.
EFT can also be used by you without a therapist. In fact you are encouraged to make EFT a regular practice and a way of releasing life's stresses and strains.

Tapping away your blocks to living fully
Here are some possible answers:-
1) It's the placebo effect. The fact you are doing something towards feeling better and that someone has convinced you that this will help you can be enough for the placebo effect to have a positive effect on your life.
2) It just like counselling. If part of counsellings effectiveness is providing an safe environment in order to talk about your issue, than EFT, if might be said, does the same.
3) The principles of acupuncture apply. EFT uses the same points on the body that acupuncture does. Therefore what applies to acupuncture as the reason for its effectiveness also applies to EFT.
4) The Unknown. This is a kind of "catchall". Maybe we just don't know the real reasons why EFT helps. The fact is that it just does.
I hope these thoughts have helped answer some of your questions about EFT.

I can't wait for more and more people to learn about EFT. It really works and it's fast, it's free, and anyone can do it. I just put together a lens on the top EFT tapping tips that will help people get more from their tapping. Of course sometimes we need a practitioner's help too right? All the best!
