Other than "historic Encinitas, there is "New Encinitas" that focuses on El Camino Real. "Cardiff-by-the-Sea" consists of many interesting homes that sit on the hillsides near the ocean. You will find many giant eucalyptus trees in "Leucadia". "Olivenhain" (the German for "olive grove") offers more space and a rural life aspect.
