High Blood Pressure is often called the 'SILENT KILLER'

You're on this lens to learn how to protect yourself from the dangers of high blood pressure. As you read this lens, your going to exactly how you can address your health concerns at the GENETIC level simply and inexpensively.

When was the last time your blood pressure was checked? Do you know what it was? These are important questions. I'm a health care professional who wants you to know more about the 'SILENT KILLER' that is taking so many lives.

High blood pressure has been identified as a 'silent killer' because 1/3 of people don't even know they have it. Understanding risk factors for high blood pressure and knowing that you can't depend on a high blood pressure symptom is of utmost importance. It has been estimated that one in three U.S. adults have high blood pressure.

How Does It Kill?
If left uncontrolled, high blood pressure can lead to stroke, heart attack, heart failure, or kidney failure.

How Do I Know If I'm At Risk For High Blood Pressure?

There are controllable and uncontrollable risk factors for high blood pressure...

CONTROLLABLE RISK FACTORS

Obesity: Defined by a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or higher
Salt Intake: Eating too much salt can result in high blood pressure in some individuals
Alcohol: Heavy and even regular alcohol intake can have a dramatic affect on high blood pressure
Physical Activity: Lack of physical activity can result in obesity increasing the chance of high blood pressure
Stress: Although hard to measure, there have been correlations made between high blood pressure and stress levels

Uncontrollable Risk Factors

Race: African Americans tend to be at increased risk with earlier occurrence and greater severity
Heredity: Familial history means greater risk for you
Age: Men tend to develop HBP between 35 and 55; Women are more likely to develop post-menopause

Is this a high blood pressure symptom?

High blood pressure rarely causes any symptoms, which is why it is so important to consider the risk factors of high blood pressure and improve your lifestyle in as many ways as possible.

Improving your health could be as simple as taking the right new nutritional dietary supplement! As you keep reading, you're going to discover exactly how DNA guided nutrition can impact you.

Sometimes the following symptoms may present, but they are typically mild...
  • Headache
  • Dizziness
  • Blurred vision
  • Nausea

Is There Anything You Can Do About Your Genetic Risk Factors?

You're health is a result of interactions between your genes and lifestyle factors such as diet, exercise stress, smoking, and alcohol. Lifestyle factors are the risk factors that you can IMMEDIATELY change to decrease your risk for high blood pressure.

Your new genetic make-up determines which nutrients are used in your body; the way toxins are removed, what happens to any waste products and how efficient effective these key processes are working within your body.

By adjusting your lifestyle and utilizing a customized nutritional dietary supplement, you can have a positive impact on how your genes work and compensate for areas in which your genes are not functioning at an optimal level.
