Dishwasher spare parts

I bought a new dishwasher about 2 years ago and at the weekend it finally decided to give up the ghost.  Currently I'm exactly sure what is wrong with it, but I'm gonna find out.  I phoned the manufacturer who informed me that the cost of sending out an engineer would be prohibitive, so I ought to just go and buy a new dishwasher.

I searched the web for dishwasher spare parts and believe that I may have found the problem. The microprocessor has broken.

So I've ordered the spare part and we'll see what happens in a couple of days
