Welcome to EPCOT DINING
World Showcase at EPCOT has so many Dining options it can be difficult to decide which one to try. In this lens I will tell you what is available, the type of food available and how to get the most from your trip to World Showcase
What a Menu!
Well at Epcot World Showcase you really can choose from all these different options and many more besides.
Each of the eleven countries featured in the Epcot World Showcase has dining options to choose from. All the pavilions have at least one food outlet and some have two or three.
The hardest part of all this really is deciding where to eat next. Below I have tried to give an outline of what each country pavilion has to offer. Some I have tried personally, some I have not, what ever I have tried to give an honest opinion of the venue.
Please read on and enjoy this lens, I am sure you will find information to help you.
Tip : The biggest Tip I can give you is decide beforehand as early as you can, where you want to eat. The Disney restaurants are all very popular and a reservation (where available) is often essential if you wish to eat. Do not let yourself and your family be disappointed, make that decision, make that reservation and enjoy.

San Angel Inn Restaurant
Dining option : San Angel Inn RestaurantIt is always Twilight inside the Mexico pavillion and the scenery depicts a smoking volcano and pyramids. The ceiling is designed to look like the open sky.
This Mexican restaurant provides a range of traditional dishes featuring Beef, Chicken, and seafood. Most have traditional Mexican sauces and spices so may not be to everyones liking.
The restaurant is quite dark and you sit under the 'sky' with Mayan pyramids in the background. Table lanterns and the soft glow from the sky provide the lighting.
The boatride flows around the edge of the restaurant but the low lighting levels and the general arrangements mean that this does not intrude on the enjoyment of your dining experience.

France
Chefs de France Restaurant
The Chefs de France Restaurant at the French pavilion is rated as one of the best restaurants at Epcot and features high up across the whole of Walt Disney World. The restaurant is positioned right at the front of the pavilion and actually hides away most of what France has to offer. Many tables have window seats so that you can watch the world pass by whilst you are eating. The restaurant itself is bright and open giving an impression of space. The tables all have clean white table covers typical of any top class Parisian restaurant.
You can expect to be able to choose from a range of superb french dishes including beef, chicken and others such as Quiche Lorraine. Lunch and Dinner menus are different, however both offer a good selection of appetizers, soups, entrees and deserts.
Also on offer is an extensive selection of French wines from the main French wine producing regions.

Bistro de Paris
The Bistro do Paris is an upmarket restaurant that only serves food in the evening. This is based on a Parisian Bistro and serves gourmet food. There is a dress code so you will probably want to make this one to visit on a special occasion and not just at the end of a day running around the theme parks. At a minimum you should expect to wear a shirt and trousers/slacks with proper shoes. There is no children's menu at this restaurant. The A la Carte menu changes frequently to suite seasonably available produce but you can expect to have a selection of Lamb, Filet Mignon, Duck, Pork Tenderloin and a range of seafood. Deserts are also as tempting with a choice of Apple Tart, Chocolate Souffle, and other French delicacies.

United Kingdom
The Rose and Crown
The Rose and Crown at the United Kingdom pavilion is based on a traditional British pub. Most of the inside of this pub is laid with dining tables but the area just inside the front, to the right of the reservations desk is more like a british pub with a bar and space for you to enjoy a 'quiet' drink. The food is traditional British food with choices such Fish and Chips, Bangers and Mash and Steak and Kidney Pie. There is also a selection of traditional British beers and ales to sample with your meal.
As the restaurant fronts the World Showcase lagoon you may be lucky and be able to get yourself a waterside table from which you can watch the Illuminations spectacle in the evening.
The outside tables are in an outside dining area which whilst covered can be a little draughty, so you may want to take a jacket if you are eating there in the evening at any time other than the hotter summer months.
Food Served - British A la Carte
Lunch - 12:00 to 4:00pm
Dinner - 4:30pm - Park closing
Cost : Typically $15 - $35.99 per person
Reservations : recommended.
Yorkshire County Fish Shop
The Yorkshire County Fish Shop is located on the left hand side as you leave the United Kingdom pavilion heading towards France. This kiosk serves traditional Fish and Chips based on the famous Harry Ramsden's menu. You should not ethe British meaning of the word 'Chips' translated as being French Fries although these are a distinctly British Chip being bigger and chunkier than the typical Fries.
For Desert you can try some traditional British Shortbread.
Also available is a selection of drinks to accompany your meal.
Some outdoor seating is available.
Food Served : British, Fish and Chips
Available throughout the day, check locally.
Cost : typically less than $14 per person

Canada
Le Cellier
Le Cellier is a Canadian Steak House. Serving a selection of Steaks, and Fish along with a couple of other dishes this is possibly the most popular restaurant in Epcot. There is a selection of Canadian Beers and wines to accompany your meal.If you wish to eat here you really will have to book early. You can make reservations upto 180 days before you visit. My advise is that if you want to eat here on a specific day, count back and make the reservation on the 180th day before you want to go. Call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463) to make reservations. If you don;t have a reservation you may get lucky and get a table late in the evening if another party finishes early.
You enter Le Cellier below the main chateau and as the name suggests you enter a dining room in the cellar of the Chateau, there are no windows. The restaurant is quite dark and features stone arches. Service from the canadian serving staff is excellent.
Food Served : Steakhouse A la Carte
Lunch : 11:30am - 3:00pm
Dinner : 4:00pm - Park Closing
Cost : typically $15 - $35.99 per person
