Greatest Band Ever
Okay so they're aren't really a band, but more of what you would call an extended symphony.
Globus was created by Immediate Music in 2006. Immediate Music is responsible for a majority of those tracks you hear during trailers. Gamers may also recognize their music from several of the games in the Final Fantasy series.

Europa - Lyrics
From Agincourt to Waterloo
Poitiers and then Anjou
The Roses War, the Hundred Years
Through battlefields of blood and tears
From Bosworth Field to Pointe Du Hoc
Stalingrad and the siege of York
The bloody turf of Gallipoli
Had no effect on the killing spree
Bannockburn to Austerlitz
The fall of France and the German Blitz
The cruelest of atrocities
Europa's blood is borne of these
Heaven help in all our battles
Heaven see love, heaven help us
Bolsheviks and feudal lords
Chivalry to civil wars
Fascist rule and genocide
Now we face the rising tide
Of new crusades, religious wars
Insurgents imported to our shores
To western world, gripped in fear
The mother of all battles here
Heaven help in all our battles
Heaven see love, heaven help us
Avant hier, avons etre
Deja demain, (nous) sommes eclairee
All glory, all honor
Victory is upon us
Our savior, fight evil
Send armies to defend us
Empires built and nations burned
Mass graves remain unturned
Decendants of the dispossessed
Return with bombs strapped to their chests
There's hate for life and death in hate
Emerging from a new caliphate
The victors of this war on fear
Will rule for the next thousand years
All glory, all honor
Victory is upon us
Our savior, fight evil
Send armies to defend us
Europa, Europa
Find better days before us
In kindness, in spirit
Lead us to a greater calling
Leningrad, Berlin Wall
March on Rome, Bzyantium's Fall
Lightning War, Dresden Night
Drop a bomb, end this fight
NEVER AGAIN!

- I love Immediate Music and Globus, and the music is breathtaking, but I can't really get behind the lyrics for this song and the, for lack ofa better term, racist warmongering. "Europe's history is full of futile bloodshed, now people we beat up are turning into terrorists, so let's drop the bomb on the muslims". And then to end such a call to violence with "Never Again"... I'm sure they know the significance of that phrase.
I love most of Immediate's work, but, yeah, I just can't get behind a call to violence, especially one couched in religious bigotry. :-(

- To be honest, I didn't interpret the lyrics that way. It started off focusing on the violence in Europe and how Europeans brought it with them to the rest of the world. Then it goes into the greatest 'falls' of European history, ending with the bomb and suggesting that Europe will/should never rise again to spread it's violence to the rest of the world.
Since it's impossible to be racist or war-mongering toward Europeans (they deserve it anyway, right?), it's perfectly fine. Still, I would like to see an alternative to this song about the wars in much of Asia and/or Mesoamerica, which were some of the bloodiest regions outside Europe and the Middle East for much of history. The only reason Europe is focused on is because some of the world's largest, bloodiest empires did come from the continent. Doesn't change the fact that others in the world were killing each other with or without the interference of the 'sickening' white skins.
