We counted 6 gardems and parks in Lille with some particularly well suited to families with childrens play areas and others suitable for a relaxing stroll around. We would recommend the Rue Du Jardin des Plantes and you absolutely have to visit the Citadelle Park and Zoo.

Throughout the year there are plenty of art events on in and around the museums and galleries of Lille. At the end of April Lille hosts an art fair which is well attended by leading galleries and offers a great opportunity to see outstanding work from the current generation of artists.
