Planning a Wedding

Some things to consider

You may have seen that movie where Jeniffer Lopez played a wedding planner for one of the biggest wedding planning businesses in San Francisco. While this movie may seem way too much in some aspects, the job of a wedding planner is actually real.

If you are planning your own wedding, or even considering becoming a Wedding Planner yourself, take a look at some the things below. This is a snap shot of how professional wedding planners work. Apply it to your circumstance and your sure to be on your way.

There are people out there who make a decent living setting up weddings for couples who do not have an inkling as to how they are supposed to make their special day become a reality. Entering the wedding planning business is no easy task, but if other people can do it, then so can you.

You should start off with an outline of what weddings need. Making a list of the essential elements of a wedding will help you map out your next moves. You can then start assembling your price listings for certain wedding packages and start canvassing for the needs that come with a wedding planning business.

You will need to establish contacts with florists, bakers, churches, reception venues, caterers, dress and gown designers and tux rental shops. You will also need to get in touch with limousine services, bands, ice sculpture makers and calligraphers or printers.

You will need to scope out these sources for your wedding essentials and get from them the best possible prices and price listings for the items and services you will need once you have a client.

You can always start with a wedding planning event for a friend or a member of the family to get your feet wet, so to speak. You can create a wedding plan presentation for your first client by talking about what they want their wedding to be all about, the color scheme they want and everything else that their big day requires. You will need to keep track of all that they need and the schedules for the other pre-wedding events and needs, therefore a file folder for the couple as well as a date book is one of the things you need to have.

Look through some of the wedding planning sites online to help you gain a little perspective on the business and to help you figure out what your next step will be.

There are many great books and referances on this topic of Wedding Planning. Search the big G or check out one of the most popular right here: http://robert19.amazingwp.hop.clickbank.net/

Who is the best Wedding Photographer?

Make sure you consider the following:

There are three main things to consider when choosing your photographer.

First your photographer should be ethical and professional. You must be able to trust your photographer to treat you fairly and honestly. When looking to engage the services of a professional in any industry, it's important to deal with individuals who adhere to a code of ethics and business practice

Second, you should like your photographer personally. You and your family are going to spend the most important day of your life with this photographer, so it's important that you all get along together. You are going to spend a large part of your wedding day with your photographer. Do you enjoy their company, what about personality, their dress sense, what about their manners and their presence. Will your photographer dominate the wedding or fit in with your guests.. Choosing a photographer who is on your wavelength is extremely important.

Third, your photographer needs to be an expert at photography. He or she must be able to capture fantastic images, that you will treasure for ever. It is important that your photographer can produce the types of images you like. Ask questions about the particular images you like and whether it is possible to produce a similar result at your wedding.

Don't forget to shop around as the deals on offer will vary considerably. Google is a great place to start but word of mouth is always best when it comes to such personal memories.

I trust this helps.

A matter of Style

What type of wedding photography are you seeking?

Choosing photographs that match your personality and lifestyle.

When you look at what you wore to your year 10 formal, you realise that styles change quickly - and sometimes for the better!

In wedding photography, there is a large range of styles from the elegantly simple and timeless to the bold, innovative and contemporary. Photographic style describes the look of your photographs - modern, traditional, formal, casual, posed or candid. It also refers to the personality that an individual photographer brings to the images. Some photographers have a great eye for composition and design, others are able to anticipate special moments better than others. All these nuances combine to create distinctive photographic styles - but the distinctions can be quite subtle, especially if you've out visiting half a dozen photographers.

A Traditional wedding Style
Although formal, images are these have incredible importance in a wedding album. Even if only from a historical perspective.

A Contemporary wedding style
Give your photographer the freedom to experiment a little and you will be well rewarded with some exciting imagery.

The Photojournalistic Style
If you're not into posing for the camera, but want an interesting and memorable wedding album.

This style will truthfully record your wedding day and many things you yourself may not have seen.

The best approach is a combination of all styles where you and the photographer discuss what's important for your wedding album. For instance, it's important to have some traditional photographs, even if only to keep your parents happy - they may be expecting some formal portraits. It's also important to have some real photographs of what happened on the day, so a photographer with photojournalistic skills is important. But the reality is most people will want contemporary album with a modern feel to it. This can be easily achieved by mixing the photographic styles and taking the time to discuss and explain exactly what you want with your photographer.

I trust this helps you.

Take care.

Choosing the right Wedding Gown

For those Sexy Shilhouette Photos!!

If your looking for Sexy Silhouette Photos in your wedding gown consider the basic fundamentals following;

To strut your stuff in a gown that will show of your slender waist and strong shoulders. Feminine and elegant, a slinky dress is the way to go!

Many a bride chooses to experience having her dress tailor made for her, an artwork that will only be worn once. With the fitting process taking six to eight months. An indulgence, a luxury and total pampering for the one day in her life when she wants to look and feel her absolute best - a magical scene out of Cinderella's fairytale.

She desires a grown made from the finest fabrics, tailored to suit her liking, contoured to fit her body and caress her every moves, being comfortable, free and happy to enjoy her day.

Good dress couture is all about highlighting the good features and improving or disguising the not so good.

Hot Points to consider:

If you are a petite bride, then long, vertical and flowing lines will accentuate your best features. A smooth, long line is created to give the effect of sultry elegance.

If you want to avoid looking too tall, avoid sleek dresses

A classic sheath teamed with cathedral trains and long veils will enhance a tall and slim figure.

A ball gown dress would suit a tall larger bride with a fuller skirt (tulle), as it helps accentuate the smallness of your waist.

A tulle skirt will compliment a fuller figure. It adds elegance and fullness to de-emphasise larger hips.

A corseted ball gown will slim and lengthen your figure, accentuating your bust and waist, so flaunt what you've got!

I trust this helps you.

Take care.

Wedding bouquets

Going over wedding bouquets'

There so many lovely bouquet arrangements to complement any kind of wedding theme. You will have to look at roses, hydrangeas, lilies, tulips, and honeysuckle. How about trying autumn blooms for wedding bouquets'

Unconventional flowers can also add the unusual but pretty touch. You may try wildflowers - cornflowers, coneflowers, poppies and columbines. Artistically arranged with ribbons and lace, wildflowers used for wedding bouquets, will bring a fresh appeal to afternoon garden weddings. You can choose exotic blooms with rioting colors, or dainty blooms in pastel hues.

Wedding bouquets may be a cluster of different blooms in the same color with a touch of green, assorted flowers, a single large bloom accented with tiny blossoms, or it may be bright yellow blooms of zinnias, and sunflowers.

Wedding bouquets do add a touch of dash to a white wedding dress. Depending on the color of wedding dresses - pearl gray or taupe, there will always wedding bouquets to match. The bridesmaids' floral bouquets should also be chosen according to the color scheme. It is always nice to see flowers that complement the dresses and jewelry worn.

If you shop around for wedding bouquets, you will see an assortment of dried flowers, deep-freeze roses, crystal and porcelain blooms as well as paper bridal bouquets. These types except for the deep-freeze varieties will keep for years. You either go for one time bridal bouquets or blooms for your memento. It is a good thing though that you can have a variety to choose from instead of the usual traditional wedding bouquets.

Several wedding bouquets specialists can give the best advice to help you with your selection. You can do your shopping offline and online.

For offline window shopping, check out several wedding specialty shops. You can get a lot of information and see for your self the actual feel of the wedding bouquets. The sales clerk may show you a brochure of their products for varieties that are not on display. When you are sure that you have made the best choice, then get an order.

For online shopping, right in the convenience of your home, you can browse several sites specializing in wedding packages. You can get quotes for different packages that include wedding bouquets. A friendly reminder for brides-to-be: always choose wedding bouquets that will bring out the best in you.

Wedding centerpieces

Wedding centerpieces are works of art.

The wrought iron candelabras with flickering candles, glass bowls with floating votive candles, and even colored ice-cubes can dress up wedding tables. The fusion of fine art and cuisine make the wedding a gustatory and visual feast. However, the vast arrays of beautiful classic and modern wedding centerpieces that vie for attention are indeed overwhelming.

Unless one is steeled to stick to particular wedding centerpieces, there will no problem. Perhaps the budget can also narrow down the choice. You may go for tall or short wedding centerpieces. Whatever your choice, it is the dressing up of the wedding centerpieces that can challenge your artistry and creativity. You can dress them up with candles, flowers, vines, and ribbons. You may also decide for centerpieces that can accommodate a full flower arrangement, or get smaller pieces or topiaries.

Whether you get expensive or lower priced items, it will always call for good color sense and style to achieve a desired effect. The wrought iron wedding centerpieces are a throwback to the romantic period. These can be painted black or gold to serve as a backdrop for tiny flowers and vines. This type of centerpiece comes in various designs to hold one or more candles.

The glass bowls for floating tealights are becoming popular as these have a romantic appeal. The topiaries give a garden effect. Words of caution though, choose flowers that will not droop before the party is over. You can be guided by getting flowers in season. Of course, the choice of accents for the wedding centerpieces will symbolize the thoughts and feelings of the wedded couple. They may go for heart-shaped candles, blooms with rioting colors, fruits, and even custom candies and tarts to go with the wedding centerpieces.

Feeling adventurous' Why not try doing the wedding centerpieces yourself' You can get an inexpensive clear 6" glass bowl - add aqua crystals and Floralights. The effect is truly stunning, more romantic and costs less in money and effort. For winter wedding centerpieces, you can make miniature Christmas trees. Jazz them up with glitters and use battery operated lights to eliminate the hassle of hiding cables and wires.

There are endless possibilities to making beautiful wedding centerpieces. If you can get someone to do the job for you, then take the break; but if you wish to do it yourself, then do it in style.

Have fun
