Once you have completed the simple Evidence Nuker installation steps you're presented with a simple interface with 3 different menu options. Main, Results and Exclude. If you click on the Main option you're shown a checklist of various areas on your computer including Windows Systems, Internet Explorer and Windows Utilities. This checklist is then subdivided even more. Evidence Nuker's scan times are pretty quick and usually within a few minutes you will be directed towards the Results tab in the program. This area gives you a detailed rundown of all the issues found on your computer by Evidence Nuker. You can take a detailed look at each area if you wish to and get information about individual files the program has tagged as been a problem and then choose if you want them to be deleted or you if wish you can do a quick and easy deletion of all files found by the program.

Evidence Nuker also has a few other options to pick from, like if you want the program to start when Windows starts. Or if you want the program to clean your pagefile before shutting down your computer. You can also setup automatic scanning and let the program scan your system once per day, week or month.

Another feature of Evidence Nuker is you can pick the shred level that you would to use on the files the program has found. The program has four different levels of shred beginning with Classic, the least effective but fastest, to Guttman shred, which does 35 passes over the files to be deleted. This is a very effective method of deleting data forever but takes time to do.

Another feature worth noting is that you can exclude certain folders or programs from being scanned by Evidence Nuker. So if you know there are certain files or programs that Evidence Nuker may falg as been a problem before you start the scan them you can add theme to the exclude area in the program and it won't scan them.
